That was the game down in Mankato....He took his 3rd penalty, came out of the box after it was over, and went right out of the rink I think without even stopping at the bench.
What happens if Burger King wants to raise their prices to match Wendy's even if Burger King is compliant? Does that make them greedy or too profitable? Would you still go to Burger King if you knew they were price gouging customer's?
As for creating new jobs, I live in Duluth and I had one of those big signs that said "Funding by the Recovery and Reinvestment Act". It consisted of black-topping a section of road that I will say is 1-2 miles. Guess how long it took?
4 days.
Creating jobs. Temporarily at least.
DaveK's Motto:
Screw being an adult and working things out between 2 parties when you can just be a coward the rest of your life.
What would you rather be known by in your job? A cowardly person? Or a fortitudinous person?
And I'm really ok with you having your own opinion. It just mind-boggles me(and most everyone else on here) that you believe the 2 acts are somehow so completely different and that one is reprehensible while the other is a part of the game. When in reality, I would venture to guess that one is the cause that created the effect 98%(+/- π) of the time.
Let me just make sure I have this right:
A butt-end/slash by someone is ok. That's just physical play.
A butt-end/slash by someone who then is subsequently asked to fight for their said actions is unacceptable. That's too rough.
Am I correct?
I live by the philosopy of Quality over Quantity. I felt that the quality chances were fairly equal. Even the Capitals' player in his post game interview said he felt that they kept a lot of the Penquins shots to the outside.
Just as long as they aren't instigating....
Hey, accidents happen...The U.S. players should try figure skating if they didn't like the Russian's physical play
For someone who is supposedly an adult, you sure dont catch on quick...
Why would you personally attack someone when you chastise others about doing the same thing?....You really are your worst enemy on here
If there ever was a sign, to me at least, that this wasn't the year, this past weekend proved it.
Who had Boston, Vermont, Miami, and Bemidji in their bracket challenge?
The #1, 9, 13, 16 seeds overall. :shaking head:
I'm in need of 2 tickets for tonight's game. It's my fiance's birthday and we want to watch some hockey.
I won't be able to check this board too often today, so the best way to reach me is at:

Bracketology 3/11/09:
Bracketology
I'd rather face Cornell on the big sheet of ice where they have to cover more area and have less of a chance of clogging it up.
If they were smart, they would have left Houghton this morning and got at least to Duluth. I live in Duluth, and it didn't start snowing here until 2pm. I might have tried to drive the whole way today if I were them. Otherwise they may be stuck til tomorrow afternoon.
A bunch of crap? Come on. All I said was we weren't skating.
If you didn't think we were a step slow and our passing sloppy, we'll agree to disagree.
We just looked a little scatter-brained after the 1st shorty.
