  1. Yea, that's real close. She could go to Hinkley too. Anyways, is there a Sioux gathering around that anyone knows about? It looks like I'm flying solo for the game.
  2. Casino? At Night? Not in Duluth....At least not without a weapon
  3. I'll be there. And if I get lucky enough to find a decent-priced single ticket, my wife too!
  4. It's on FCS Atlantic. I could not find it originally, but instead of it being labeled "college hockey", it was labeled "ice hockey" instead. 7pm start time.
  5. Technically, he wasn't on the team in the fall semester, right? What are they supposed to say about a guy that isn't technically on the team? Is this one of those signing situations? The coaches can't say anything about the player until he signs with the team. And if he's a recruited walk-on, maybe there are other factors that come into play for the coaches/players not being able to comment. I have no idea, just speculating.
  6. Anyone know if Al is actually taking a bus to the Duluth game? Living in the Duluth area, I was trying to fathom how he secured tickets for this game, I was lucky to get a single ticket is all so far.
  7. Not sure on the basketball teams, but the only place that the UND hockey chartered this year was to Maine and Alaska. Everywhere else is either a bus trip or commercial flight. And how much bigger is a basketball team than the volleyball team? Or soccer/softball/baseball? Doesn't make any sense why the BB teams would charter as you said and make all similar teams fly commercial.
  8. 3-4 games doesn't make a career.
  9. I'd take him. The Buffalo Sabres would take him. If Jeff Frazee can get a shot, a guy that's won 20+ games each of his years in college will get a shot.
  10. Maybe that expression is because he gave up 3 goals in 10 minutes and is now having to watch the opposing team celebrate in front of him after being pulled? Would any of you look happy in that situation?
  11. That "Maine Power Play" ticker has been on the top of my screen since the 2nd period it feels like
  12. Ha Ha...Line of the night so far for me
  13. No wonder why coaching is so tough. Do you congratulate the Maine player who dove, allowing them to score on the ensuing PP? Or do you get pissed for disgracing the game and not playing straight-up?
  14. That's what happens when you get 3.5 power plays in a period.
  15. I don't even think Simpson touched that guy on the penalty call
  16. Bump- Anyone have Al's number or a way to contact him about the Omaha trip? Better yet, Anyone know how much it will cost on the bus? We are going, just trying to figure out whether to drive ourselves or take the bus now.
  17. You gotta have Real Player 5 installed. I couldn't get mine to load in Mozilla, but works fine on IE.
  18. It's gonna be a good night. I just scored tickets for the opening night game at the BREC next weekend! 3-1 Sioux Tonight...AA always plays us tough. Gotta score first and early.
  19. Friday- Frattin Saturday-Genoway
  20. How bout "Russia Sucks".
  21. I thought you were picking me up along the way!
  22. Not sure on Bemidji, but Duluth tickets have gone on sale the last Monday in September the last 2 years. This year it would be around Sept. 27th if they stayed true to form. They haven't updated their ticket site yet though for a confirmed date.
  23. You're absolutely right. UND doesn't have to play in the Ralph Engelstad Arena if it doesn't want to. They could always move over to Purpur Arena or Eagles Arena and play in a 3,000 seat arena. They could even renovate the old REA too while they're at it. Stop being dumb. Do you honestly believe the NCAA has any right to jump into the agreement that UND and the REA has with regards to the usage of the arena? Again, the REA is a private entity. No one has to do any business with them if they don't want to. Just like any other business, if they can't attract tenants/acts/concerts/etc., they will eventually fail and be gone.
  24. It doesn't matter whether you are a fan of basketball or any other sport at UND. You continually link the settlement between the NCAA and UND to Ralph Engelstad Arena, when in reality there is no link. All that matters is that the Ralph Engelstad Arena is a private entity and can do whatever it wants without listening to the NCAA or even UND for that matter. Its(REA's) job is to make a profit and be successful.
