Again, A Cop-Out IMO. What's more important than your name? Would you want your name being thrown through the mud if you were innocent? If I were him and I was innocent, I'd be pissed to all hell if my name was being thrown around like it is no matter the circumstances.

All the answers haven't been made public yet so I wouldn't have done anything yet about his status as president of NDSU. Let me ask you a question: If Chapman didn't do anything wrong, why did he quit and run? If he's got nothing to hide, why not stand on his morals and fight these charges while still the president of NDSU?

First off, He wasn't held accountable and he didn't lose his job. He ducked and ran. He denied any wrongdoing and resigned. He wasn't fired. He resigned. Secondly, if anyone did do this at UND, they should be held accountable and fired from their job. I don't think anyone here is arguing that.

Do you understand the circle you keep going around? So if the audit comes back that he did take money from the donors of NDSU and whoever for "his personal benefit", now you want them to prove that he intentionally took the money? How do you un-intentionally take money? Am I correct? I sure hope not.

Where else would he think the money was coming from? The tooth fairy? UND? Think about it. Be rational. You are smarter than that. And so was Joe.

First of all, if you honestly believe that he didn't have a clue what was going on with his brand new house, that's just plain dumb. IT WAS HIS HOUSE. Would you not want to be kept up to date with what is going on with your custom house? Secondly, whether he's directly or indirectly responsible for this mess doesn't matter. The accounting is an NDSU problem. The deficit is an NDSU problem. The President's house is an NDSU problem. Where do you go when there's a problem? To the top. He was in charge of the University. Whether he knew or didn't know what was going on, it doesn't matter. He was the president. He was expected to operate the University in a positive way. And when things like this happen, he should be the one who is fired. It's just business.

Ultimately, in the end, someone is responsible for the system and how it functions. And in this particular case, it was Chapman.

I'd even partially concede the 3rd goal that went off Lapoint's noggin, but not completely. Do you remember a few years ago at The Ralph when JPL let in a goal off the glass behind him because he lost track of the puck, which coincidentally, flew over the net, off JPL, and into the goal. Goofy stuff happens all the time. No one remembers the save Eidsness made against Cepis with about 10 to go in the game on Friday on the partial breakaway. Anyone else at the game last night see Jackson give the refs the finger after the game? He was absolutely irrate with the last play with the netting issue. Also, It just goes to show you how poor this league is with its officials. For the first 55 minutes of the game, the referees called the game a certain way. And all of a sudden, for the final 5, they changed their minds on how to call the game. From my seats, the 2 penalties they called on us and the 1 on them at the end were good calls. The simple fact is they were letting holding and interference go all night on both teams, and then at the end decide to change it up. Ridiculous. Lastly, did anyone else see what Olson did to Kristo behind the play that the referees never saw? All I saw was Kristo on the ice in front of the Duluth net with the play in the neutral zone. Kristo went right after him.

Is anyone planning on going to the Michigan Tech series in a couple weeks? I bought 2 tickets for each night that, unfortunately, I can't use now. I know there are plenty of seats to go around in the building, but if anyone is planning on going that hasn't bought their tickets, I would be willing to sell mine for the best offer out there. My cost for each ticket after the fees was $18. So I am looking for $60 for all 4(2 each game). That's cheaper than you can buy them when you get there. Seats are Section H, Row 1, Seats 1-2. They are on the end the Sioux shoot at twice. If you haven't made the trip to Houghton before, it's well worth it. Great Old Arena I feel. Old school, small town. Lots of sights to see too.
