This opinion is by someone who has been around FCS football for a long time. He's seen how things operate with the conferences and teams moving up. Hardly the same as the dribble that Bakkle, Fee or Mcfeeley write. Yes it's his opinion but it's a very informed one.

Good then hockey is the only sport you consider important for the next 2 years. Good to know!

The games will happen again, there's too much advanage for both schools not to continue at some point in time.

I agree but where you'll see the difference is in all the other sports. NDSU has usually been better in volleyball, track, softball, soccer, and wrestling. I think most fans will be surprised with our baseball team this year. It seems most Sioux fans don't care about those sports but they all play apart in the move to DI.

I think everyone should try and get these two together to settle this.

Once again you got it wrong Sicatoka - Your AD is generating the media attention. He's calling Gene not the other way around. I doubt Gene scheduled time on KFGO with ed.

Most Bison fans understand the fb reason for not playing, but all the other sports? It was just RT & UND being vindictive and hoping for failure on NDSU's move to DI. It's as simple as that! And some posters on this board don't understand the reason that NDSU doesn't want anything to do with UND. Is it that hard to understand? Make your own way on the move to DI, because if your success depends on playing NDSU then you're in a world of hurt.

The only cavernous building that's mostly empty during fb games is in the north valley. I think you know where.

Boy all you guy's want so bad to play now where were you in 2004,5,6? Fact is you need NDSU to jump start your DI move. Well it ain't going to happen.

So what's UND's reason for leaving? You may say the jury is still out but you won't find many in your camp.

So RT was stupid to stop scheduling NDSU in all sports?
