Only in your own small mind. If you think that dii is the same today as 20 years ago, you need to read all the post on this board about it. NDSU was never challeged by UND in dii as far as national championships or anything else. Your pretty venues are not UND's nor do they controll them.

You are 100% wrong - UND would have never thought of moving to DI if NDSU hadn't moved first. The inferiority complex is completely UND's and gf. Why have you decided to move up now? Jealousy is the only reason. Fargo builds the Dome, gf builds the shed, NDSU moves up to DI and UND moves up. Really it's not that hard to figure out.

UND never has a player that doesn't make the grade for academics? It's just that it's never announced at UND, and the gfherald never prints it.

That's a far cry from promising a conference in 1 1/2 years. (Think about it how could anyone promise that) I remember him saying that finding a conference was the number 1 thing he'll be doing and if he can't find one (jokingly) he should lose his job.

You forgot Tony that this is all about money. Chapman thinks (and is right) that NDSU get the short end of the stick on funding, yet he leads the most progressive university in ND. The amount of research dollars, new high tech jobs created, and growth are unquestioned. But like all our public education systems, whether it's secondary or higher, its all based on a rush to the bottom.

I seem to remember when Potts kicked UND out of Fargo the up roar on this board about it and the great Mr. Potts. This is all about money and what each university wants.

We have most of our schedules filled for the next couple of years with some great teams. We also have some games with DII teams, these are mostly teams that scheduled us during the transition period. If you make the move, the spin will be amazing. Let the fun begin.

Our win over Wisconsin last year was on every sports persons lips all over the USA for weeks. It's what's basically driving your move to DI this year. It's called jealousy.
