Your missing the point star - It's all about RESPECT! I think DL has earned enough respect in his time at UND to at least be asked about playing UNI. Once anyone thinks that his/her boss doesn't respect them if they have any pride at all will look for greener pastures.

With the way Buning treats any legacy coaches what makes you think he'd go that way. I think if Lennon gets the job, Buning will go outside the Sioux family and get his own coach.

There's already enough teams around that can draw better or as well as UND. I think the Bison-Gopher game will be a sell out this year, in Maturi's eyes it doesn't get any better than that.

Gene Taylor criticized Brewster or disagreed with him? Brewster hasn't won 1 game yet and you take all his smoke and mirrors as Gospel. Mr. Taylor doesn't schedule games with Brewster, I think Maturi has some input in that area. The game last year sold 63,000 plus and this year will be a sell out. The fact that MN can play a FSC team and get that kind of turnout I don't think Maturi going to turn down NDSU in the future. They have Montana State next year and there won't be 30,000 fans at the dome. Your criticism of Taylor is laughable. In your wildest dreams UND's transition to DI won't go a well as NDSU's has under Gene Taylor.

Your thought process is very limited if you think that the NRA is a borderline terrorist organization. You need to educate yourself about the NRA. It has always been a organization that teaches GUN SAFETY. Since the anti-gun nuts have been attacking the 2nd Amendment they have had to get political. It's terrible to think of all the money they spend defending the 2nd amendment that doesn't go to teaching gun safety. I wonder how many lifes the anti-gun fools have cost?

Dave - your kids are the ones that have gun accidents. Kids that don't know a damn thing about guns. If you were smart you'd have your kids take the hunter safety course so they have some knowledge about guns. If you don't want them to be around guns fine, but your not with them all the time, especially as they get bigger. At least they won't be curious when they come across a gun and know what to do.

It's been said before if all NDSU was interested in was a DI NC we start a hockey program. Only 13 full DI teams and 58 or so total teams. Hell if Mankato and St. Clould can be competitive ---
