  1. They will continue to improve this season. 2016 though will be the conference championship year, home playoff games year.
  2. Nothing confirmed yet, but they have played for 4 consecutive seasons so that may indicate that they will play again this year.
  3. North Dakota will host Waldorf on 12-1. The date of the K-State game is 12-22. 11-13 Minnesota-Morris 12-1 Waldorf 12-5 @ Bradley 12-22 @ Kansas St. TBA NDSU TBA Northern Iowa
  4. I am surprised they did away with the aviation names. I thought a couple were interesting. I've said for years that I think it will wind up being RoughRiders, and I am sticking with that. I guess my preference amongst the final 15 would probably be Cavalry.
  5. I'll play................. Clifford - in a runaway Kelley - Raised a buttload of cash, built great facilities, visible at sporting events, gave the Summit the finger and got us into the Big Sky Starcher Baker Kupchella - Worst of my lifetime and it not close. He seemed to hate athletics and acted like they were a nuisance. He stood up for the nickname once, prior to that one time he tried harder than any President to get rid of it. He set back UND athletics at least a decade by delaying the DI move.
  6. Looks like North Dakota will play at Bradley (12-5) and at K-State (TBA) this season.
  7. Yes
  8. I have no update to the upcoming schedule other than UM-Morris will be playing and exhibition at the Sioux Center on November 13. Other than that I wanted to point out that Northern Iowa will be hosting North Carolina. Similar to the deal where Kansas while under Roy Williams came to Grand Forks when Jeff Boschee was playing there so he could have a game close to home. UNC has an All-American from Iowa this season, so Cedar Falls and UNI is his home game. Pretty good of Williams to go out of his way to do that.
  9. I am pretty sure they just replaced the video boards in REA just two seasons ago, due to a fire. I doubt they will be replacing those in the near future.
  10. I can actually agree with this. Bisonville used to be a great place to just go talk sports. As more of a football and basketball guy (as opposed to hockey), back in the mid 2000's I could find better conversation about sport in general over there than I could here. Things seemed to go crazy over at Bisonville around the time they got into the MVFC, about the same time that UND moved to DI. Can't hardly stand to read that forum anymore now. For whatever reason, for the past few years they are just as big into putting North Dakota down as they are into celebrating their own success...........
  11. Let's refrain from name-calling and personal attacks as both are violations of the Forum Terms & Rules.
  12. 4 of the 5 basketball games have been blowouts one way or the other. The only one that was competitive was the one that was played in REA, and I'd say fans of either school that were at that one had a great time.
  13. I would argue that RT was far worse as Athletic Director than was Buning. He (along with Kupchella) was the main factor in the delay in moving to DI, which hurt North Dakota immensely in the long run. Then after successfully holding up the transition, he leaves. No foresight whatsoever. Great guy, great coach..........poor administrator. For all the great things he did for this university as a coach, he possibly did it just as much harm as AD.
  14. Keep it on topic please. Take the personal chatter to PM please.......
  15. Jones probably didn't offer him but I bet he plans on trying to get him to transfer here......
  16. Well, now it isn't so funny....
  17. I also prefer the Sioux Center 99% of the time, but if they were to put together a doubleheader with the men and women for the NDSU game in the REA, I would be down with that.
  18. Do you have the dates yet for UNI and NDSU?
  19. UNI has only been here once since the move to DI.
  20. As a dyed in the wool, life long New England fan, I am loving this.
  21. As optimistic as I am, given the continued state of flux that the offense is in there is no way I could say with a straight face that the Wyoming game is one of the "winnable" ones on the 2015 schedule. If I am wrong, I'll gladly eat crow. Having said that, I certainly don't expect a lop sided outcome similar to the one that San Jose St. put us in last year's opener.
  22. It is funny how SUU and UND came into the league together at the same time, yet SUU managed to get the right logo in place.
  23. I am quite surprised that neither Rough Riders or Nokota will apparently not be considered. Not really a fan of either, but figured both would probably be amongst the Top 5 or so in the end.
  24. I was really bummed when that closed as a Boston's and reopened as Space Aliens........
  25. To add fuel to the fire, the Red Pepper does nothing for me either......
