Seems like North Dakota's Indoor Practice Facility is on about the same timeline as NDSU's new basketball arena.............................

On paper, Cal Poly is probably one of the 3 best teams in the Big Sky. On top of that they by far have the easiest schedule in the league for 2012.

I agree that it is great the UND passing attack had a great day. But given poor the pass offense performed last season, I'm a bit concened that basically the same group had 3 100 yard receivers on the day against our D.

There need to be some offensive plays designed to get Anderson and Schuler open from beyond the arc. And I mean something other than a high ball-screen at the top of the arc. Agree, that Huff is not a shooter...........................

You have to remember that USD is the same school that purchased an interstate billboard at a Brookings exit to advertise for an away game.........................

I think it looks great.................... I could care less what letters of the alphabet are at mid-field, as long as we have a top notch playing suface..............................

Also Minneapolis player of the year....................

Someone refresh me on the scholarship situation. Gone: Mitchell, Gentry, Goodman Incoming: Traylor, Salmonson So is there one scholarship still open?
-
I wish we could count on that for a regular season game..........................

Excellent news! You can't teach height. I'm glad the staff was able to address this major area of concern. Hopefully these guys are able to contribute this season. Jones has had some luck with JUCO transfers in the past: Little, Youmens, Mertens, Clausen..................

Early 2012-13 Big Sky Rankings #8 - North Dakota

I pick the White team to win. Jameer Jackson to be the offensive standout. Cordero Finley to be the defensive standout. I suspect guys like Miller, Hardin, McGill, Brenneman, Goodman, Sutton, will not see a ton of snaps.........................

South Dakota State and UMKC will be visiting the Sioux Center next season..........................

Here's the "unofficial schedule": -10 Home games against Big Sky teams -10 Away games against Big Sky teams - @ NDSU - 2 Home games against DII/NAIA teams - 7 Non-conference games TBA

4-5 years ago, a group of baseball alums made a decent contribution to the program because it was being neglected. The University just invested some substantial coin into Kraft Field. I don't think baseball is going away any time soon. I love the sport of baseball, but if I were "A.D. for a day", my first order of business would be to drop the program. It just doesn't pencil out at the DI level when you are possibly the northern-most team in DI, have poor facilities, and no conference. I used to like the idea of Lacrosse to replace it, but now I think we'd be better served to just divert those resources to football and/or basketball............

Pretty tough for me to vote, considering I haven't personally seen Hanson. On paper, he should be the guy. But I would think that a full year in the system would be very beneficial to Bradley..........................

I'm a closet Illinini fan.................. I would love to go to Champaign......................

Kotelnicki is the best coach on this staff......................................

As far as I know, there is one year left with Fox College Sports......................

I like the late start times too.....

Kelling seems like a great guy. But the fact is that the defense regressed every season since he was named co-coordinator. Specifically, the part of the defense that he has been in charge of has had a severe defect for the last five years. In the same time-frame, co-coordinator Mannasau's front seven has continually improved over the last several years. I like the idea of having one guy in charge of the defense.....................

Sorry WYO, but the guy has a point. You moderate Bisonville. The thread on this subject over there is over 600 pages long, filled with a helluva lot of posters that flat out say they will willingly support and encourage their family and friends in the state to support this initiative. Is NDSU pushing this? Absolutely not. The idea of that IS stupid. But I can guarantee that alot of the signatures that got this on the ballot came from NDSU backers.

Agree. Since Carlson has made it a state issue, then Minot State, NDSU, UMary....................any NCAA member in the state should feel the effect. Much like in South Carolina. Our "representatives" have taken it upon themselves to make this an issue. Make it a State issue.
-
Would it though? The legislature voted in favor of repealing Carlson's Folley................................

I see now that I have lost an hour of my life by wasting my time replying to DaveK's posts...........................
