I don't recall anybody saying UND would have won the national championship and were ready to beat the best. Most said UND should have gotten in the playoffs as one of the best 24 teams in the country. Then, hope for the best.

Southern Utah on October 15th. Should be a really good game.

Looks like a 2-3.

They actually have made quite a few changes, IMO. They used to run that same high ball screen 90% of the game and now run the weave at the top that allows them to get into a set play. They also pass the ball into the post and let him work one-on-one, which we hardly ever saw in the past. They are also utilizing a zone at times during the game, depending on the personnel they are going against and time of the game, etc. UND got in and out of their 2-3 zone all game vs. Weber. I personally believe it was Jones seeing he needed to make changes based on his personnel, past failures, pressure or whatever. Gotta give him credit because this team is playing completely different than the past teams.

The shorter ref struggled much of first half. He called 4-5 that all went against UND and were 50/50s or no calls. Shows how well UND truly played, because anybody who watched the game would say that they got more calls against them then for them.

Wednesdays Kolpack and Izzo Signing Day show turned into the "Kolpack and Izzo Who Else Offered You Show". They spent half the show talking about other programs. Nauseating.

The true test comes tomorrow. This was encouraging and a solid effort on both ends. Let's see it again vs. Weber!

Exactly. However, they probably had an inkling something was up as kid's usually take a visit to their possible 'new' destination. Like when Chinn visited SIU. But to lose a #Nebraskajack...wow.

Related to what I said above, SDSU just lost yet another verbal in Jacob Matthew. They are closing poorly. Zero caffeine in that office right now. But, but....... #Nebraskajacks? As near as I can tell, UND has hung on to all their verbals amid the flurry of offers the past few weeks. We will see on Wednesday when the pen meets the paper.

This might come off as sounding bad but so be it. I for one am very happy the staff didn't set foot in Arizona or California this year. Those two states have been an unparalled disaster for us in recruiting, with Arizona being by far the worst. Not sure one kid has ever panned out from that state. Plus, some of the softest kids we have ever had have come from there. I know there is talent in those states but we sure never got it. 95% of the class from the upper midwest is the way to go.

UNI has been offering this year's recruits FCOA. So it must be going into place for the 2016 season.

Works both ways. Kid tied up a roster spot and scholly then bailed with 8 days left. Coaches do it, like Harbaugh, but players do it, also. Just how it goes.
