  1. I just noticed I was charged $89.95 as well. Email has been sent to them as well. Thanks for posting. I never would have caught it which is what they are counting on I'm sure.
  2. I am not sure Mattson is playing the full year in the USHL. I think he might just be doing the before and after and will be back with Grand Rapids for the season. I agree though that his draft position may be the deciding factor of when he comes in although a year in the USHL after high school could be very beneficial for him as he could use the extra year to put on some beef.
  3. I would think Mattson plays a year in the USHL before coming in. I would guess we pick up another forward or two to come in next year. Possibly the transfer from Maine that was on a visit a few weeks back in which I can't remember his name?
  4. Looks like Jackson Keane and Andrew Peski will be playing in the USHL this year. I haven't seen that posted anywhere so I don't know if it's finalized yet or not. I think that is a good decision if so.
  5. Agreed and you can include his classmate Hextall in there as well. Both should have played their senior season at UND.
  6. This is where I am hoping Shaw and Berry's experience coaching NHL d-men pays off. Shaw's first real big recruiting test.
  7. LaDue is almost 100% to leave. He was very close to leaving this year.
  8. Not a whole lot of recruiting buzz out there lately. I am really interested in seeing who the first recruit of the Berry tenure is.
  9. Anyone know much about Evan Barratt? I had heard he visited a while back and we had a good chance at landing him.
  10. I sure hope the addition of Shaw to the staff and Berry at the helm will lead to elite D recruits like Fabbro committing. Seems like we should have a leg up in recruiting elite D with these two D coaches on staff with their NHL coaching experience. Fabbro has been rumored to be interested in Wisconsin along with others as he is the one who could get into more schools.
  11. Every team dumps and chases during a game. It's just the way hockey is played. You don't want to turn the puck over at any line especially late in a game. And there are certainly strategic ways to dump the puck. I just don't get the assumption around here that we dump and chase every chance we get.
  12. I love this statement. Way too many people on here make it sound like Hak's system was hit the redline and dump it even if you have an odd-man rush. Would we prefer to have our players try and stick handle through everyone and have a million turnovers each game leading to odd-man's the other way to get away from ever dumping the puck?
  13. I just don't see how Fabbro ever could come in next year. There is just no room on D especially if Schmaltz decides to come back. I think it is simply we'd love to have you both but next year.
  14. Take a guess who was in charge of the PP?
  15. Now it came on. I guess a little later start then the other game was the reason.
  16. Or in GF? Wings-Lightning on both NBC and NBC Sports. What's up with that? And not on FSN.
  17. You can get rid of that maybe. Tucker Poolman will be playing D next year even if all underclass D return and he will be very good at that.
  18. So by process of elimination then he must be either going to BC or the CHL by your reasoning since BU, Denver, Wisconsin and UND don't win big games. Maybe Providence has been added to his list?
  19. That could be one interesting scenario if it happens. I never thought of that.
  20. Yep I am having the same problem. Not the best weekend for the something like that to happen.
  21. I'd agree with your Chyz call if he moves up and plays on the LJ-Schmaltz line instead of Pattyn but if he stays where he is at I don't see it. This just seems like an obvious switch to me. I don't get why they keep putting Pattyn on a scoring line. Chyz-Schmaltz-LJ and Pattyn-St Clair-Olson looks better to me.
  22. I'm surprised to see him have Jordan Schmaltz on the first team and Paul LaDue on the second. Don't get me wrong they are both nice players, but it almost seems he is putting them on those teams based on previous play/reputation and not this years play. I have Stecher ahead of both but maybe him missing games hurt him. Not sure he has seen a lot of Sioux games after seeing his list other than Zane being POY.
  23. After watching Through These Doors, it looks like they practiced with lines of Poolman-Caggulia-Parks, Pattyn-Schmaltz-Johnson, Chyzyk-St Clair-Olson, OD-Gaader-Poganski. I have to agree with you in that I would like to see Pattyn and Chyzyk switched.
  24. Just received a confirmation email this morning that the tickets are being mailed out today.
  25. I contacted my Target Center contact yesterday (who previously told me the tickets would be mailed out Friday Feb 20th at the latest) and she said the tickets are still on her desk and she plans to get them mailed out today or tomorrow. Not real organized and annoying to me since I have a suite and need to distribute 22 tickets. I don't understand why they weren't mailed out a month ago.
