Let’s let him get to campus first. We have 2 new promising QB prospects and a RFr who got game experience last season and was decent. Should be quite a battle for QB position.
-
Our starting five needs to accept the responsibility to get where they need to be. Same goes for the rest of the team. SC coach is a factor but very few teams are going to blame the SC coach if they aren’t getting the job done.
-
Yes. #1 will be drafted too. This game was never going to be much of a game. The Bison don’t miss tackles. Good teams don’t. Mankato State game is better game.
-
Why would you want to???
-
He is not an NDSU commit. Never was. SDSU had him in. Should be ready by August for fall FB but should redshirt his freshman year and go slowly. Will likely go to Mankato State or Moorhead State. I would recommend JC then transfer to FCS. He is an outstanding HS RB. Very quick, very strong, patient and breaks tackles.

Solve the oline issues and if we open holes these guys are big enough. Too many people are judging based on what a player looks like when listed in the program. This young man has the potential to be really good. That is why people are excited.

Tried, couldn’t.

Do you know which hotel?
-
Yes he would have. Hard for me to understand all of the talk about lack of speed when the only 40 time we came up with was 4.6. Do you know there are wide receivers in the NFL no faster than that? The isn’t a big difference between 4.5 and 4.6 or 4.7. Run the right pattern accelerate into the open spot these guys we had this year were effective receivers. There aren’t that many 40-50 yd passes in a game.

Doesn’t look like it
-
Most D2 teams will have one or two players who can play at a higher level. Not sure what St. Cloud State has.
-
Champions club early purchase $135 row J Center ice. Corner UND attack once $99 End where UND attacks twice almost sold out in corners and end. Numbers may be off a couple of dollars.

I keep reading this. What were/are the Wanzek, Toivonen, Maag, Adeoti. Boltman, 40times?
-
Great discussion right before signing. We need to protect the QB, the QB needs to get through their reads and deliver the ball, and the receiver needs to catch it. The receivers need to run the correct routes and get their reads right. Anyone who doesn’t think Wanzek was an excellent receiver wouldn’t know a receiver from a golden retriever.
-
Weston was special. Wanzek was an excellent D1 receiver. Would have started on virtually every UND team. Maag is very good. Toivenen decent. Our receivers weren’t the problem.
-
He was WR coach. Our WR were/are good. Rudolph didn’t know what he was doing with QB’s. He ended Mollberg’s career early and never developed Studsrud or Bartels. Danny should do better.
-
No way to know. As I said, I may be wrong but same was said about Wentz and Stick.

These guys can coach. They have won a National Championship. They have been patient with these young guys and have gotten them to buy into the system and the culture of team first. The handful of fair weather fans who demand change after a down year or 2 are the same ones who blame their kids failures on the coaches, refs or other convenient scapegoats. We have been fortunate to have some outstanding hockey coaches and that includes Hakstol and Berry. The players I have talked to are of the same opinion. They never blamed the lack of championships on the coaches. They accepted the responsibility. Different attitude but the attitude of successful people.

Great athlete doesn’t turn the ball over and his team hasn’t lost a game. He hasn’t thrown an interception all year Gopher QB has been outstanding. They are both very good. So yeah, I think he is as good if not better than Morgan. They are a bit different in that Lance seems to be a better runner but they are both very good. Believe it or not I’m not a Bison fan, but I’m not blind. There is a big difference between MVAC and Big10 but Lance would also be very good Big 10 QB. But of course, as usual, I could be wrong.
-
No problem with that.
-
Yet we have morons chanting “who’s he?he sucks sh** every home game. Shows lack of class and intelligence from their students and ours. Makes no sense that students can’t come up with anything better than that.
-
As good if not better.
-
I would take that bet.
-
How are you sure this was his idea?? I’m not sure you build a program by bringing in a new coach and give him 2 years or he is gone. You won’t get coaches to come to a program that does that. I have heard nothing but good things about him.

In answer to your question yes. I have been on the Med school faculty for over 20 years and was asked to serve on the interview committee. Your comment that UND has only an academic advantage only for those in Aviation leaves out Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Undergraduate Sports Medicine, Chemical Engineering etc. There are also advantages to undergraduate students who do their undergraduate studies on a campus where there is also a Med school, Law school etc but if your grades are good, your MCAT score is good, you have a resume with activities that show you can accomplish goals work with others etc you can get in to Law School or Med School. This is supposed to be about recruiting. I hadn’t compared what UND offers vs other schools. There is another blog for UND vs NDSU which seems to be where your interest lies. In the meantime if you need to continue to upgrade your life experiences by reading and posting on UND’s forum feel free.
