When I saw this in the papers last week, I can't believe how strange the trek to Division 1 has become for some schools. In addition to Rutgers and Seton Hall, New Jersey already has other Division 1 basketball colleges such as Saint Peter's, Rider, Monmouth, Princeton, and Fairleigh Dickinson. For new Division 1 schools such as North Dakota State, South Dakota State, and New Jersey Institute of Technology, going around the country to play each other in front of small crowds and little media coverage makes very little sense to me. FINAL SCORE---- RUTGERS 44 CINCINNATI 9 After 27 years, it is finally over!!! We're going to a bowl game for the first time since 1978. This was pretty much a blow-out from the beginning. This feels great---students and adults stormed the field with many people taking pictures with their children. Imagine Sioux fans, if the hockey team went 27 years without even getting into the NCAA playoffs and then finally got in. RRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!

After students and long-suffering fans stormed the field following last week's game that assured our first winning season since 1992, I don't know what will happen if we beat South Florida on saturday which gives us a certain bowl bid in Charlotte, Phoenix, or Jacksonville. Thanks Sioux fans, The Louisville game is at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville on a Friday night and will be nationally televised on ESPN or ESPN2. This one may be too much to ask for but RU fans will be very happy with 8-3. South Florida and Cincinnati are not a lock,but there just seems to be something about this team that I haven't seen of a Rutgers team for a long time. Just got back from the Rutgers win over Navy. Who is in goal and what is the difference between last nights' game and tonights'. Thanks.

Final Score--- Rutgers 31 Navy 21 At 6-2, we are assured of our first winning season since the early 90's. One more win against South Florida, Louisville, or Cincinnati and the Scarlet Knights will be a lock for a bowl game. Wish the Fighting Sioux would have won today, but that was a heck of a home winning streak! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!
