  1. I lived in South Carolina for about two and a half years. Summer just went on and on. The whole time I lived there, I felt like I needed to take five showers a day. I used to go to the South Carolina Gamecocks games and in November I was still wearing t-shirts and shorts to the football games. It felt strange watching football that late and not wearing sweatshirts and jackets.
  2. AZSioux, Thanks. Is it true that the temperature was 100 degrees at one of the Arizona college games on Saturday?
  3. In the pre-season polls, where were the Sioux ranked in the 2000 National Championship season? Thanks.
  4. Hello Zach Attack, There are some North Dakota football and hockey jerseys at www.fansedge.com. They aren't official and I have never purchased anything from them, but I like the designs. Hope this might help you.
  5. Sioux Me Now, Yes. You should hear one of our basketball announcers. When someone came up with the idea of "homer" they were listening to him. We can lose by 21 and he makes it sound like "if it weren't for those unforgiving rims" we would have won.
  6. Sioux Me Now, That is a VERY BIG ocean behind the tall ship and I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE! The only connection I have to organized crime is when I buy pizza! We have too many people and too many cars. The days of New Jersey being a state of big, polluting factories are long gone. For better or worse. Even the last auto plant in the state closed this year. After many, many years of destroying our environment our state is trying to play catch up and it seems to be working. A few years ago, the state decided to buy half of the remaining land on a voluntary basis. The water quality for the ocean and drinking water is aggressively monitored.I remember being down South a few years ago and some resorts are still pumping raw sewage into the ocean. As for the air, hardly anyone can get through inspection without being told to go back to the garage to get the emission levels even lower. No one would think New Jersey is as pristine as North Dakota, but there are a lot of beautiful areas and a lot of wildlife. A lot of people hear about the New Jersey Turnpike and the Sopranos and that's all they know. Here a few websites that show the variety of New Jersey-- www.nj.us/dep/fgw www.nj.us/dep www.state.nj.us/travelMy Webpage
  7. The post game radio show for the Fighting Sioux is very professional. The announcers and production are much better than what I am used to hearing from the stations that carry Rutgers sports. Very good job.
  8. Congratulations---still undefeated! GO FIGHTING SIOUX! GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!
  9. Hello Air Force One, Rocky Hagar is not ringing a bell. Last night was so important for our football program, not just being on ESPN but also beating a team we have only beaten a couple times in the last decade or so. We were up 27-0 at halftime, but there were some anxious moments in the second half. This had to be one of our hardest hitting games in quite a long time. 3-1 and next week is West Virginia who is a much better team than Pitt. I'm going to try to hear the end of the North dakota game on the web--last week it came through loud and clear. GO SCARLET KNIGHTS! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!
  10. Hello Siouxmd, I have never seen UND play and I have never seen a Division 2 game. That being said, I have seen Top 10 Division 3 teams and Ivy League teams play. After looking through the roster and the size of the players, I would think we would dominate both sides of the ball. For a ballpark guess, I would say maybe 56-7. My guess is you would be able to beat many Ivy League teams. Hopefully, I will be able to see UND on tv in the NCAA playoffs this season.
  11. It is ironic that the former Communist countries are gaining more and more freedom of speech( as well as freedom of religion ) and the USA is losing ours! I hope UND does not give in to the politically correct thought police!
  12. For those who want to start the college football weekend off early, we will be playing Pittsburgh on Friday night on ESPN at 8 eastern/7 central. This is possibly the biggest game for RU in the last 15 years. With a 2-1 record and remaining games against West Virginia,Syracuse,Navy,Connecticut,South Florida,Louisville, and Cincinnati we have the best chance for a bowl game since the late 70's. Our football and entire sports program really needs to win tomorrow night. Roster is on the website-- GO SCARLET KNIGHTS!!! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!My Webpage
  13. I would love to look in the papers and see my Scarlet Knights listed in the Top 20 in one of those meaningless polls! GO FIGHTING SIOUX!!!
  14. Hello jersey chaser 1, Both the Devils and the River Rats seem to be a little slow updating the roster/prospects info. A lot of players were sent to Albany the other day, but Zach Parise is in the Devils camp in South Orange. Here is an article with a mention about Zach Parise. My Webpage
  15. Congratulations Fighting Sioux!!!
  16. FIVE and O !!! Listened to the end of the game--it sounded like a complete shutdown of their running game.
  17. Hey Sioux Me Now, Not that I am into betting, but if you are bet your Fighting Sioux hockey tickets, football tickets, all your souvenirs, the ranch, the car, the wife, the kids, and your dog that Rutgers will not lose or tie this week. Check scarletknights.com if you are wondering why I am so confident about this week. By the way, I don't have anything against North Dakota State but what is with those colors!
  18. What a great start! Who needs Division 1. It sounds like you have a great team and Division 1 is not "better" if you have terrific fans. Keep it up--I would love to see the football team on ESPN in the NCAA playoffs. GO FIGHTING SIOUX!
  19. Hello Sioux Me Now, For those of you who missed the Rutgers-Buffalo game, I would like to tell you that you missed the greatest college football games in the last 50 years. I would like to tell you that, but it wouldn't be true. A win is a win and we are 2-1! I am just trying to decide if we are going to the Orange,Sugar,Fiesta, or Rose Bowl! GO NORTH DAKOTA! GO RUTGERS! AND remember Sioux Me Now, nothing stronger than ovaltine!
  20. It looks like CSTV has increased the number of games they will televise this year. Good to hear. Thanks for the info. Hope ESPNU will follow their lead. The ESPN's seem to be reverting back to their old days when they televised everything from darts to bus pulls. If they are going to show unusual "sports" they could at least put on that Australian Rules Football---it makes our football look like croquet!
