  1. I can only imagine what you are going through, Marlin. Our prayers are with you.
  2. I hadn't been to The Boardsroom in a while, but found this piece this morning by Pat regarding Martin and hit. It was written last month. Hockey needs to figure this out
  3. If I were a head coach (scary, huh) and saw that on weekly basis my offense was under performing and I had years of experience as an OC, I would want to take over the reigns. The performance of this team and it's coaches is ultimately Mussman's responsibility. I use the New Orleans Saints as an example of a head coach who has an offense driven mind. Payton defers all of the responsibilities of the defense to Gregg Williams, but Payton runs the offense. He has an OC who assists him, but Payton calls the shots. Here is an article from last year in regards to the relationship the Saints OC has in the overall scheme. Ultimately the success or failure of Sioux football rests on Mussman.
  4. You would think the students would have come in droves for Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
  5. Sioux lose by 10.
  6. Back up to 8 with 10 seconds left. Sioux have made some youthful mistakes in the last minute.
  7. 28 seconds left IPFW still up by 4. IPFW has the ball with 18 on the shot clock.
  8. Down 4 with 1:30 to go.
  9. Sioux take a TO. Still a winnable game.
  10. Down 9 with two and a half minutes left. Down 6 with 2:15 left.
  11. SIoux are trailing 40-30 at halftime. Huff hit a half-court shot to get it down to 10. Sioux started verrrrry slow and have played them somewhat even since. I don't know a lot about different BB offenses, but I really can't figure out UND's offense. It seem like they lack penetration into the defense, except when they throw a wild ill-advised pass. Maybe it's just my age and I'm more used to the old structured offenses from days gone by. FSSN and FCS are great. Very cool to be able to watch my favorite team play on TV like this. Another half to go. Let's go Sioux!!!
  12. Are you thinking Sunbelt or is C-USA going to offer?
  13. [url=http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/184384/]
  14. Checking out the box score. The Sioux didn't have 100 yards passing or rushing. I wonder when the last time that happened? The most positive part of the game is that few saw the debacle. Attendance was 3918.
  15. WAC teleconference spurs rumors and speculation
  16. To the average fan, perhaps not, but to the Big Sky Conference, this would be huge. Idaho is also a flagship school, not a directional school or commuter college. One of the reasons that North Dakota was added to the Big Sky was UND added to the academic side of the conference affiliation. Idaho was ranked a little bit better in the recent USNews Tier I rankings, so academically they would be nice for the Big Sky. Would love to see it happen, but it is a low probability.
  17. Wouldn't that just be horrible if Idaho were to go back to the Big Sky?? I know the odds are against it, but with the way the conference shuffles are going, who knows?
  18. 7:07 according to this schedule
  19. The Sioux did lay an egg. A goose egg. I don't want to come out of transition with this same mentality. A change is needed. I will support UND regardless and appreciate the effort put forth by the players.
  20. Nice job by the Ladies.
  21. Lawmakers may revisit Bison-Sioux rivalry
  22. You aren't going to bet anything on that are you? You may end up a soprano.
  23. Some of us (me) get blinded with insane-like loyalty.
  24. 24-21 Sioux. Let's go SIOUX!!! Let's go SIOUX!!! Let's go SIOUX!!! Let's go SIOUX!!! Let's go SIOUX!!! Let's go SIOUX!!! Let's go SIOUX!!!
  25. The box score says 1280, but watching it online, it looked like more than that. The "play it live" chat said around 2,000.
