Anybody else think that Finley or Prp or Smaby will try to fight McCauley tomorrow night for steamrolling JPar? I am hoping so, even if it costs someone a game. As a side note, I ordered one of Diggler's shirt but haven't received it yet. Anyone else ordered but not received? Maybe I did something wrong.

I bought one of Diggler's shirts and plan on wearing it quite often. I hope many more people will buy them as well. Maybe those shirts would be good as the sioux sports shirts as many people have been wondering about if there would be one.

In Sports Illustrated's NHL Preview, they have Bochenski listed as the team's first line right wing playing on the line with Heatley and Spezza. Parise is listed as New Jersey's second line center. He is on a line with Gionta and Friesen.

I believe that a team carries around 25 players or so. I am not sure of the exact number though.

Toews is a good one to follow. Joe Brock and Tyler Ruegsegger (spelling?) will also be highly recruited. Brian Volpei is a little farther down the list. I think that Murray could be good but it seems kind of early to tell since he is all of about 5 feet 4 or something ridiculous like that and last year weighed in the range of about 130-145. He could be another Ryan Duncan though, even if he doesn't grow anymore.

Has it been determined that Strouth is for sure out for the year and will redshirt? On the Sunday edition of Fighting Sioux Football on WDAZ, Lennon said that they weren't sure how long Strouth would be out. Anyone have a definite answer?

Scott Stevens retired today. That should open up a regular spot for Hale if he is and can stay healthy.

Ryan Martens is a walk on I believe. He had something around 60 points last year in the BCHL. I think that for most of the posters on this site he is an unknown quantity as far as how good he is and how much he can contribute.

I guess I will have to get another jersey (this time a Flyers jersey).

I think Jeff Woywitka is the telling part of that trade. He and Greene were going to be the cornerstones on defense for the Oilers for many years to come. Now it looks as though they will be depending on Greene even more. This trade kind of surprised me. Seems like they gave up too much possibly.

I think it is a toss up simply because Toews will be playing on the first or most likely second line and Kessel may end up on the second or third line because of returning players for the goofs.

Miller had roughly 65 points his senior year at Shattuck compared to Toews having I believe 116 and Okposo having 98 (I believe) that same year. That was when Okposo and Toews were Sophmores too. Okposo is going to play for the Des Moines Buccaneers this year rather than return for his senior season at Shattuck.

I will say today that Dowzak will end up at UND or Wisco. Forget about the second tier programs having much of a shot at him. I saw him play a couple of games last year and he is certainly just as good or better on his skates than Smaby and even if he does get beat around the edge his reach is so good that he can pull of the poke check.
