Lincoln just took Tyson Dowzak. Maybe that will help us land him if he ends up playing there.

Tri City took Matt Lundin I believe although it says Matt Lindin. If that is Matt Lundin why did he leave Maine? He was a freshman and would likely get a lot of time next year (if Howard leaves). Maybe he just wasn't happy there.

Does this seem strange? I thought that he was going to be a borderline first round pick and he ends up being number 2 behind Okposo.

Off topic but Kyle Okposo just went first overall in the USHL Draft. I just kind of figured that he was going to stay at Shattuck , but based on this it seems that the answer to that question is no.

I believe that it is Craig Vardy. About Walski, he is actually born and raised in Grand Forks but moved to Fargo either just before or during high school.

So if you can blast people on the Gopher board when they "belittle" the Gopher program, then why can you not handle getting blasted when you "belittle" the Sioux (that is the correct spelling) on the Sioux board.

I realize that they are juniors I was just making the point that it seems that they could play d1 right now even at 16 or 17.

I love how now that Marto isn't going to the Goofs, the Goof fans think so much less of him whereas if he had gone to the Goofs he would be the next Martin or Ballard. Anyone else find this funny?

I for one would take either Dowzak or Finley right now no questions asked.

I think that we will be short on D-men this coming season so I think that we can get a few D-men for 06. We have Marto so far, and I know someone on this board said that Hardwick will likely wear green at some point. I think we can still go after both Finley and Dowzak because for one we will definitely lose Greene after this year (if not before) and we will lose Marvin to graduation plus we may lose Smaby after this coming year. I just think that we will still have a good shot at Dowzak and/or Finley for 06 without having either of them play 06 in juniors. I also have no inside info though, just observations.

I for one still want Glas out and I am still here. I just think he has exhausted his effectiveness.

So with the incoming talent for Rich, if he has another collapse like he has the last few years can we expect there to be more talk of him being done?

I realize that he isn't as much of a standout as Digger, but because of his size could Bransted get a shot somewhere. For a safety he is about the perfect size that the NFL likes (6'3 220-230ish)

The BCHL has a video interview with Andrew Kozek. Not a whole lot of info involved but they do talk about the Sioux.

What I heard is that Volpei was put on the U-16 team because his birthday was such that they could play him for another year on that team.

Not a bad night for Sioux recruits in the USHL: Brian Lee had an assist as well as Vandevelde getting one. As mentioned before, Oshie had a 3 point night (I couldn't help but notice that he is playing on a line with Gorowsky). As far as possible recruits go, Mario Lamoureux had assists on two of three goals for Tri-City.

In one word: No.

Mario Lamoureux was a minus two tonight but he did get in a fight against a much larger older guy. Does anyone know if he will commit anytime soon? Sounds like he has a lot of heart, and I know he has a lot of talent.

He was most likely watching Moreland.
