  1. Mario played for Central two years ago as an 8th grader. I believe based on his birthdate P.J. would be a junior (maybe senior) this year. Jacques would be a senior in the upcoming year as I remember.
  2. On the Tri-City Storm website it has an updated protected list for the upcoming year. This list has a couple of intriguing inclusions: P.J. and Mario Lamoureux. I would guess that the Sioux have a lock on all of the Lamoureuxs if they so choose to get them. Does anyone know if one or both have a shot at making the team and if they do will Mario go play there instead of playing for Central. He was pretty impressive against so so (at best) competition for Central. Another interesting tidbit is that Jordan Mowbray, who played at Shattuck last year, is going to continue to play with Duncan as he is going to play for Salmon Arm. His rights belong to Green Bay in the USHL, but who can blame him for playing in a far more offensively minded BCHL. Another one to watch from Salmon Arm is a new one named Luke Cain (if I remember right). He is a six foot three two hundred pound or so power forward.
  3. He still needs to gain in the 10 to 15 pound range to be effective at the U with his style of play. Otherwise he will just get pushed around and out of the way.
  4. Does anyone have any more info about Ammerman? Is he a big D-Man? An offensive or defensive?
  5. 2004 is Moreland's year of eligibility for the draft. He is not ranked though in the top 240 north american skaters (forwards and defensemen).
  6. I had mentioned Miller in my post about Fanto on the third but no one chose to react to it but rather to the Fanto bit.
  7. I read on the River City Lancers website that their first pick in the USHL draft, Nick Fanto is a UND recruit. He is listed at 6 feet 200 pounds. He played for Victory Honda last year in Michigan and posted good numbers (47g, 52a, 106 PIM). Does anybody know anything more about this guy. Also, I saw that the Green Bay Gamblers site said that Brad Miller who played at Shattuck last year is a UND recruit. He is listed at 5'10'' 170 pounds. He posted 94 points last year if I remember right. Just a couple more solid recruits. Now if we can just get Jonathan Toews.
