I'm not suggesting that many wouldn't do that, but I sense a significant apathy amongst the ones I know. They are UND hockey fans; for some it's a social thing and they don't have much interest in any other sports.

Oh I just put on my Twitter page: NCAA you just crowned a champion that had to play 4 playoff games. Did that "dilute the regular season?" I think the big boys should have 8 teams! UCF got jobbed-beat the team that beat BOTH teams in the committee run playoff title game and get nothing out of it.

But if you aren't Bama and the big dogs, who cares who plays in the "Tampax It's That Time of Month" Bowl? Bison will NOT get past a minor bowl game and frankly, most teams that play in those LOSE money. How much would it cost to move up to get to play in those types of games IF you're lucky?

I get that the fan base should be proud, but there are many who believe that they COULD play with Bama.

Why move up when they can dominate this division? Don't give me this crap about being tired of it either. If they want to play in the Meineke Muffler Tossed Salad Bowl every year, fine by me, but it doesn't make any sense.

But the catch should have been made. I'm done watching. I hate seeing that team win and I'm afraid they will and I can't take it. The end.

I agree, but this part is a bit light on specifics. Why can't any of these 3 play well next year. Jenkins is a monster. Kruse looks like he's got a good frame too. Other youngsters like Wil Prine, Connor Kruse and Jeremy Jenkins aren’t ready to be in the mix yet. Kruse is an intriguing frame, but we haven’t seen much of him yet due to an injury he battled most of 2017.

I just saw the lineups. The entire first line is BU commits.

Army coach was talking about how his team didn't pass once in a game this year and averaged 3 passes. Here's the thing-the other team KNEW they weren't passing and still couldn't stop them. Sometimes execution is more important than play calling.

I understand that an offer is a public way of knowing who a team pursues, but couldn't a team pursue a kid, get the vibe that he's not interested and then decide it's not worthy of making an offer to him? I suspect some of this is exactly what has been noted above, lots of offers mean lots of rejections. Perhaps a team doesn't want to "waste" an offer on a kid it knows won't come here in order to keep the rejection rate down.

Wanzek and Toivonen are nice but totally interchangeable. Need a Clives type to open it up and think it could be Greibel or Izzy or Maeg??

Only 2 seniors in the projected lineup. I think a BIG difference next year will be at QB. K or Z should be able to stretch the field IF the play calling is to stretch the field from time to time to help establish the running game.

Rooster or roster?

Again, you got us-we just want to be an average team. Allow me to express my thoughts on expectations. I was all in on getting rid of Hakstol before he left. Posters defending him, kept talking about the final fours. I didn't care about final fours, I expected UND hockey to win titles. I expect UND football to win titles. Hockey fans were willing to wait on Hak because he kept getting them close. I believe Bubba and crew will be getting football close too, but Hak had to follow Gino and Blaise. We are in the Gino phase of UND football. Not gonna happen easily with SU either, but you guys who want to get rid of Bubba after an injury bad year, don't care.

Or you could just whine about everything that's happened over the past 4 years and hark back to the Mussman days when we had an exciting offense and all was well with the world and UND football. And of course, continue to denigrate anyone who doesn't agree with you as losers who really don't care if the team wins and who have low expectations because they don't want UND football to turn into Tennessee football with fans crying for a new coach every 6 weeks.

I'm for JMU today and will go so far as to say that there is NO WAY SDSU beats the Bison in a rematch. NO WAY. Thus I want JMU to win today and in Texas.
