I can't imagine anything they come up with will be so outstanding that it has to be kept secret for a couple of games. Just use the personnel you have to the best of everyone's ability and the other team won't stop it even when they know it's coming.

But isn't it possible that due to a better passing QB, the scheme will change? Isn't it possible that some of the play calling was based on the limitations of the QB? If it's shown that Keteringham and/or Zimm are obviously better passers than Studsrud and the play calling stays the same, I'll be grabbing a pitchfork along with so many others here.

I don't think anyone here "blindly trust the coaches" but it's clear the coaches can do NOTHING right in your opinion. You doubt the recruiting process this year as they didn't have the depth to fill in for the catastrophic injuries last year and I suspect you never will. I have no particular order. Zeke Ott, Austin Gordon (shows his athleticism on D Jalen Morrison, Maag plays and breaks out, and in a odd pick, Oliveira breaks out of the Santiago shadow and is at least as good as John. HM: Jeremy Jenkins, all 6'7" of him becomes a very good OL

I appreciate what you're saying, but it appeared to me, reading the Twitter post, that both said the exact same thing. As in, this was a UND fill in the blank, kind of thing. Others have written lengthy thank yous and included the academic angle, but this felt like a cut and paste type of announcement. Am I wrong?

"High level teams like K State" is questionable. I understand they are the better of the 2 Kansas teams, but "high level" seems a bit much. Yes they are in a big conference, but I don't see the shine on that team. The rest is true. But we need to get some guys who slip through the cracks and do what we did in the 90's.

I've seen this "complicated offense" notion a lot here. What's complicated about turning around, handing the ball to a RB and hoping he breaks one? It seems the QB did not have the option to audible out of a play and once heard Z got scolded for doing that. So that takes away another potential complication.

I concede I was critical of Coach Hak too...you know , when he was UND"s coach. Let it go!

I don't disagree, but if that happens, it would be as a Head Coach. I just don't think an assistant at SU is coming here unless it's to be HC.
