So if he gets fired, where do you see the program? How many of Ott, Larson and others leave for other places? How many of the recruits who verballed are gone? How long before the next guy gets us to where we were last year and likely would have gotten without all the injuries?

I don't think we have massive problems and I'm on this blog daily. I hope the recruits can see that some disgruntled fans think it's the coaches' fault we had injuries and a sucky season.

I don't care if they come from Mars, but get them. Doing more in Colorado and it appears Askew may have some in Missouri.

No one likes the injury excuse as many call for the head of players and coaches. To put injuries in perspective, Florida St was a top 10 team coming into the season. They lose their QB (one player) and now suck. Bama is still rolling but the loss of 4 LB's is starting to show. Our injuries were numerous and all over the field but this season sucked because it's the culture and it's players not caring and it's drugs and it's poor play calling and I hated what happened, but it still gets back to injuries. (CUE the guys who say I don't have high enough standards and just want to accept a mediocre team.)

He would and yet, around here, Schmitt's D gets a pass (and I agree that it's injuries) but a shoddy OLine in a run first offense still yielded 400 yards a game?? Not bad.

Who is being cleaned? Players, coaches both?

The new recruit signing period is Dec 20-22. Need to get our shat together now.

We need beasts. Any of the guys who are played a lot this year destined for beasthood? Rooney is one I think.

RSFrs Jeremy Jenkins, Conner Kruse and Will Prine gonna be anything. Jenkins listed as 6'7" 275. Kruse 6'6" 295.Prine 6'6" 255. Add a few lbs to each?

I think a stronger armed QB and a stronger OL will be the main differences next year.

UND Football 360 tweets that there was a team meeting today to talk about all facets of the team on and off the field.

Very good. I believe EWU, a pretty good team, had 89 yards in the 2nd half. Looking for silver linings in a cloudy season there's some, and when you consider that hopefully, many who were stopping them in the 2nd half yesterday will be backups, then you can have hope for this D next year. I liked the O going no huddle. We can still get the ball to the big 3 and Gordon with that type of formation. Hoping McKinney, Greibel and Izzy get going next year too.

Unfortunately, most of the guys on our D are too small for a chain like that. Gonna have to settle for a bracelet!

2017 is over. We can b7tch about it all we want, but it's over. I'll use Brian Kelly at the other UND as an example of what I hope Bubba does next year-make some coaching changes but with them a concept change on how the team plays. Kelly was on his last legs last year and needed a good season to save his job. May be true for Bubba too. Along those lines, won't matter who the AD is-Kennedy will decide. Hopefully we don't have the injuries next year and that in and of itself means the team will be better. Add some RSFr who make a difference and get increased size and strength of all those who played a lot this year. With that, guys like Rastas and Blubaugh will not be starters and will be nice depth for the D. On O, hoping the Oline (which at times gave Studs some time today) will be better and I really think that the QB will be better next year. The speed at WR should improve as well with RSFr's. Still need to figure out how to put Brady, Santiago and JJ on the field a LOT! Playoffs next year and a couple of W's along the way OR BUST!

I like all of this, but do I read this right, that you think Rooney is to LOSE 10 or is the - 10 an indication he needs 10? How difficult is it for a guy like Rastas to add that much?

Is there any good reason for anyone to compare the UND hockey program to any other program on campus? It is one of the best, most renowned programs in the country. Neither football nor any other program is. Doesn't mean I don't hope football will become that (and I believe it can) but the fan base for hockey is well established and night games in the Ralph are parties for lots of college students.

Do we have any recruits from Shanley or St Mary's? Who are the studs?

Is he the TE we won't pass to, or will they bring him in on D?

And I pointed out that the others in the house should be exonerated as it's highly likely EVERY room in that house was searched. Simply being on a team with 3 guys who are busted does not mean all or any of the others are dealing with them. I bet if they were we'd have heard about it by now in other charges being filed. It's too easy to say that those guys are the tip of the iceberg and I don't think I'm being naïve.

Well...as for probabilities, I have friends who have never been arrested but who drink and drive quite often, in fact, more often than me. 3 out of 85 doesn't seem like a lot. Are you saying there should be more because more are using?
