I got my first tattoo at the Sterling Rose in Fargo and was very satisfied but I heard they were closed now and the main artist opened up a shop in Mahnomen. I am planning on getting another tatoo, a Sioux logo, and have been asking around. The Branded Man is a shop on Washington, just south of University, in that Kastle building that I have heard is pretty good.

Great game today! Sioux scored 24 seconds into the game and then took control in the 2nd. Ney had a great game in net and the twins were all over the ice but what impressed me is how well the rest of the team played. I was at the first game against BU and the twins looked head and shoulders above the rest of the team. A week later now the rest of the team played 10 times better than last week. This really was a team win today. What I also liked was the game had a great atmosphere. Crowd reported at 1,400 and change (seemed bigger) and they were into it. The band was great (as always) but the crowd really was into the game and when there were good plays they were recognized with loud cheers. I think it was the third goal, the crowd erupted and for a quick second I thought I was at a mens game! They even used the Noise Meter on the video board with good success. I had a great time, much better then the BU game last week. The team is very entertaining! Good job girls, keep working hard and good luck at Minnesota next weekend! I was at the football game yesterday too, I think my interest is more with womens hockey too.

Oh Well, doesn't matter now! I'll take the win over advancing in Sioux Survivor. Catch you during the next game.

Was at the game today and was very impressed with the team and their play. Noticed that they only had 3 complete lines and an extra forward, thought BU might be able to wear them out with their 4 complete lines. The BU goalie looked a little shell shocked after the third goal. I was disappointed that the band wasn't there, would have been a great addition to help usher in the new era in the women's program. The rest of the game experience was off to. The usual men's musical selections were absent as well as the gimicks they use to get the crowd pumped up and there were several situations where it seemed needed. There was a small group of students that sieved the goalie but that was about it. It seemed the crowd wanted to be more involved but without the band, a major student presence, and lack of prompting from the sound booth, the crowd didn't know what to do. Now the big delema, I am going to the mens game tomorrow night, but do I now also go to the womens game?

Talked to some guys from the Lacrosse team at the Involement Expo today. Spoke the most with a young man from Maryland. The team did pretty good last spring in their new league, over .500. He said they have picked up several good players out of the Twin Cities. The team also desires to do some local youth clinics to give the locals a familiarization into the sport and grow some interest locally. They also got sweet new Warrior jerseys and added the logo to their helmets. I like the direction they seemed to be going and the enthusiasm they had.
