Attended tonight's game. Don't know a lot about womens hockey and have a hard time clearing the comparisons from boys/mens hockey to the girls/womens but do know hustle and hard work and I saw both tonight. Things started a little slow letting Manitoba go up by 2, lots of penalties. Sioux seemed to lose a little after they skated off the first 5 on 3 and it took a while for them to get it back. Motzko looks like the real deal and Jenny Porter, sharing the name and #24 as Chris Porter, seems to have a lot of grit and then turned into the female incarnation of Chris with the same move to the net and even a little jump to her step as she takes off down the ice, resulted in one goal and drew a penalty on another attempt at it. If the Manitoba womens team is like the mens, it's a nice tune up game but the Sioux will have to really stoke up the fire before they play RPI or anyone else. Hockey Mom, was that you two rows behind the Sioux bench with the Hockey Family?

I'm lurking here and listening to the game. SiouxMD, how do you manage that they don't block streaming audio at your location? Last year when I was at the 'Deid they had all the audio and video blocked so the posts here were my life line for football and hockey.

Look who's back, Warrior_08. I thought you were going to be in GF for the game and put it in our faces with all your friends backing you up so the Sioux fans could do nothing about it. What is the 08 in your userID, your age or your grade? Here's my prediction: After the Sioux beat WSU, Warrior_08 will be back on here saying it was a fluke, probably give out some instances where we cheated, the fans were mean, bad officating and will be making claims that next time we meet WSU will beat us so bad. Sioux 42-10 and the overflow grass parking lots will degrade into mud bogs.
