Denver's lone goal set up by our d men playing too wide in the neutral zone and allowed Denver an easy path to Scheel right up the middle. I think we are better than that too. Denver is obviously a quality team, but that wasn't our best showing.

Scheel is the story. Fantastic all evening, and the only goal he allowed was after getting slashed in the head. If he flops after getting hit they probably waive it off after the review. Again impressed by Pinto. Bad call on allowing DU's goal, but 1-1 going to the third is a fair score with some of the stops Scheel has made. They can't give Brink that much space in the neutral zone and on entry. Kid is just relentless with the puck on his stick.

Randklev honestly had a Yon type prep career but hasn't been great in juniors with injuries playing a big part obviously. Good luck to the kid, being a local kid, but don't think had he committed he would have gotten a lot of ice time whenever he got to campus.

Completely agree. Ohio State puts up 70 on Wisconsin and ends up in the final four a few years ago. That being said we will win 23-20.

NDSU football is getting to where UND hockey is at attendance wise. You never used to find an empty seat at the Ralph. Now hundreds, if not thousands. The novelty has worn off. Does it really make sense to watch NDSU beat Illinois directional school number???? They aren't going to lose.....period. So why go watch NDSU win by 40? There are 4 teams period who could win the national championship in the FCS. First time at the Ralph in years this weekend. Parking expensive, food and beer expensive, watched like five people on their phones nearly get hit by pucks out of play. And the rap music during stoppages sucked. Deer opener, I understand, but there never used to be a half full upper bowl.

This team has some skill and go. Going prevent in the third let Miami back in it, but I don't think Scheel had his best game either. Fun group to watch live. Michaud is just a worker. What he lacks in the skating department he makes up for with how hard he goes. Now get some points out of Denver.
