I think UND found something with the new top two units. Gaber and Blake can't play on the same line, as we saw how things go when we don't have the puck. Ludvig should be back, but still a lot of things to clean up defensively. @Goon has set the expectation.

Non conference done. Time to jump back into league play with UNO. Mostly splits in league play and they just finished 2nd in the ASU tournament in the desert. They sit at 6th place currently in the NCHC with 9 points. They've still got that Slovakian in the net for them, but Tychonic has exercised all of his eligibility sadly. Leading scorer has 13 points.

Season ends today. Started slow, gained momentum, Kirk hurt, dead. Kirk Cousins off Season saga to commence about 3 pm today.

Definitely have their moments, but I'll take sweeping a top 20 team with your backup goalie. Good non conference record for the group. Only lost to Snuggy and Hutson. Angry Stu Gabinet next.

Can I get a performance review for Hedquist? Yes he gave up four, but goals are scored on the 6 guys on the ice, not just him.

This goes back to what has cost the Vikings the year. Back at Lambo, whenever that was, you have a lead late in the game and you should be running the ball, instead you drop your guy back to pass and he snaps his achilles because of absurd play calling, and that's the year. That hasn't been the only time the play calling has been awful. Start Jaren next week, make a fake injury designation for JJ, and finish 7-10 and get a decent pick. Might be time to let someone else call plays and KOC just calls himself the head coach.

No catches for Jefferson tonight. The juggernaut that is the Vikings offense....

Let's hope they don't get anything figured out and drop these last two games.

Every goal the U-18's scored in regulation was off a d zone mishap. Goal #3 and #4 can't happen if you're Hedquist. He looks about half a foot off his angle on the OT game winner. Maybe anticipating a pass across the zone, but Hutson had half the net to shoot at. Lets hope we find a scoring touch against a team living in a hotel for an entire week.

I think we all knew Hedquist would play this one. Not even sure why the team would announce that Ludvig was hurt in practice but is for sure playing next weekend against Alaska. Time to get back to the games that count.

They need to compact it in a bit more. I get it's an exhibition, but you aren't going to match up defensively with them.
