By my count twenty five college hockey players on the rosters for the final tonight out of 50 players. If the game lineups fall the right way a majority of the participants in this world championship game play/have played/will play college hockey.....

I hope so. Guy is the best college hockey has to offer in the pxp. You can tell he cares about the game and about delivering a quality product. If ESPN cared about any sport in the winter season that didn't have an orange and round ball they'd find a way to get him to the Frozen Four.

York and Knight are the two that you always hear people just rave about, and then you watch them play and you are left wondering at times how they are first round picks. Like Zegras, Sanderson, Caufield, for sure first round picks. I guess to his credit York does play a ton of minutes against the top lines of the best U20 teams in the world.

Lacombe will probably play tonight based on his great pass to set up Farinacci's goal, but I don't think he should. He has had some adventures in his own end, but how much can they put him out there against Canada? Kleven likely wouldn't get a ton of shifts either, but I'll take a steady 6'4 200 plus pounder that likes to play physical when playing a team like Canada any day.

No kidding. The delay of games were automatic, but the only penalty Finland got was an extremely dangerous high stick that had to be called. Right before the tying goal the blatant interference on our guy going to the net had to be called, but wasn't. Puck turned over, in our end, delay of game, when we should have been on a power play.

Last three gold medal games between the USA and Canada have gone the way of the USA. Its going to take a special effort from the boys tomorrow. "Great moments are born from great opportunity."

No team has an answer for that PP unit with Zegras, Boldy, Kaliyev, Caulfield. That group would probably have success against NHL PK units.
