I'm just lost on the way they are doing the WDA tournament. With where the teams are at it just doesn't make sense. I can see it working in the EDC where the longest bus trip is only 3 hours. Williston could potentially be on the road to Bismarck on a Tuesday, likely 7 pm game I'd guess. Then be on the road on a Thursday to Jamestown. If they're still alive on Saturday they are on the road again to Minot.

How does an official look at a replay of that with another official right there and go...."Yup, that's a five." Was Don Adam by chance the supervisor of officials last night?

Alright, if my research is correct the last time we had a game at REA was.....February 29th, 2020. Leap Year??? No kidding? When they step on the ice Saturday night it will have been 330 days since their last home game. The current NCHC standings have us in first place with 29 points, and the highest winning percentage, which may or may not be what they end up going by to award a league champion? Played "okay" against CC two weeks ago and got a sweep. Playing at home in front of however many fans they are going to allow (plus cardboard cutouts of the dogs) should give the team a boost. Anything less than a sweep is unacceptable.

First period was easily our best period of the new year, and then we were just jumbled killing penalties and not getting any kind of rhythm the second or third period. Probably a good thing for Denver, because the guys in black were absolutely flying to start the game.

I think we've both at least three or four times picked a guy that's scored in the next game.

I think it was the 2017 season Neal Pionk flattened Cam Johnson on a charging penalty in the NCHC championship and stayed in the game. Watch the Mismash hit and the Pionk hit and tell me which guy deserved to get tossed.
