I think one of the games gets a bit out of hand and we try and keep one of them close. Big audience tonight should have the attention of the Pios, I'll say 6-2 DU tonight. Saturday we rally around the business suits if we can call them that any more and we lose 4-3 after holding a 3-1 lead in the third period.

North got a gift from South/Shanley, who got the game to OT, and they get Davies instead of Mattern and WFHS right away. GFC vs. S/S or GPR RR vs. Sheyenne or Mayport North vs. Davies Devils Lake vs. WFHS

Give yourself some credit! It had more to do with your knowledge of the wide world of windows. The people they hire having kids that are above average hockey players is completely coincidental.

I'm not sure, but I'm sure there is a co-op agreement that the state is okay with. Years ago you had the BW Blades playing on the North Dakota side of things and that included Breck kids playing in North Dakota. You would think the Spuds would want Park Christian as a co-op partner, but someone may know more than I do why the schools don't come together for hockey.

Tonight all gets decided in the EDC. If DL wins in regulation: North @ WFHS on Tuesday, Devils Lake @ Davies on Tuesday, Sheyenne vs. Mayport Saturday, S/S vs. GPR Saturday. If the game goes to OT: North @ Davies, Devils Lake @ WFHS, Same play in games Saturday. If South wins in regulation: North vs. Davies, Devils Lake @ WFHS, Sheyenne vs. GPR, S/S vs. Mayport on Saturday. If you are Fargo North you are cheering on your Fargo Freeze/Angels buddies to get the game to OT, or to beat the birds. If you are Sheyenne you are hoping your friends up in ice fishing country stay on their hot streak so you get the 7th seed and Mayport instead of the Spoilers on Saturday. Any way it plays out, DL has fought its way out of the play in game for the first time in a few years.

Being humble off the ice doesn't include teammates girlfriends does it? I mean was Fido really clear on that one? Probably more like Munski's Geography class?

I've heard nothing but good things about the kid. I hope the Grubb kid gets at least approached.

Tiebreaker is wins in the region, which would give DL the tiebreaker. North didn't pull their goalie last night down 1-0 so they could hold on to the head to head differential, but it didn't work and they got scored on with like 17 seconds left, and now DL holds the head to head if they win in regulation on Thursday. North is hoping for an OT game or a S/S victory, which is always difficult up in Devils Lake.

I should've said Park Christian as well. Thats the other school in the South/Shanley Co-op.

Devils Lake with quite the run. They take out North tonight in Devils Lake and officially avoid the play in game. If they beat South/Shanley on Thursday they will end up 5th in the region and would play Davies on Tuesday. Currently 1. Central-locked in. 2. RR-Locked in. 3. WFHS-Locked in. 4. Davies-Locked in. 5. North-5th or 6th. 6. DL-5th or 6th. 7. Sheyenne-7th or 8th 8. South/Shanley-7th or 8th, they hold tiebreaker over Sheyenne. 9. GPR-Locked in. 10. Mayport.

Soller up to 63 points with Shattuck's 16U. Andover kid Fitzhenry with 78 points thus far in 45 games. Grubb (Minot) with 50 pts. All three Sophomores school wise. Another good player on that team is Bedoya. East coast kid that has committed to Yale I guess.

With the pairwise being what it is it would be interesting to see where UND would be if they were to sweep Denver. I'll bet @MafiaMan's jersey collection that they don't sweep in Denver this weekend though.

Looked like an uneventful game in Williston last night between the Yotes and Mandan. 2-1 Mandan in OT. Minot over Dickinson 6-1. Mayport beats Bottineau in non conference.
