The NDHSAA needs to have off ice officials for the goal judges. The 3rd goal was absolutely the right call, didn't see the first one. Not sure on the second one as you can't see the puck. The goal judge is an 80 year old guy likely volunteering his time, but in these games is that the guy who should be in that position? All the Central kids behind the net were pointing at it like it was a goal, but high school kids nonetheless. Officials have a tough job. I thank them for their service.

Sheyenne ends WFHS season 4-1. Century moves on 5-1 over Williston.

They have never missed a state tournament with EDC played in Grand Forks. 2010 was at Scheels Arena. Lost 2-1 to West Fargo.

He said decent. Punchers chance. I'd say likely not. Whomever gets the GF schools is playing at Farmers Friday. Minot against Shanley or North is the best chance for the west.

Its just a better opportunity to make the state tournament after they lost to Mandan. They play the #9 seed today, and if they win the #6 seed likely tomorrow. They aren't happy they lost, they're happy Jamestown lost.

Happiest people with that outcome are Bismarck Century fans. I think things will line up with them playing BHS for a trip to Fargo Saturday.

Well since Skip said it, all NHL OT in the playoffs should be 3x3 and then a shootout to determine the winner if no one scores. The Stanley Cup on the ice after a shootout is what the game is all about.

I'd say period 1 advantage Canada. For Canada to not get one while USA hasn't gotten their footing is big for USA. Make the power play count period 2 and get the lines rolling.

No real surprises at EDC last evening. Shanley looked pretty good against Sheyenne and have a big test on Friday against Central. If they lose they are looking at the North-Devils Lake winner in an EDC play in game on Saturday. All West Fargo loser out on Friday should be fun.

The biggest thing they always point to is the Jamestown to Williston or vice versa on a Tuesday. I'm very in favor of the Tuesday opener. Teams that earn the higher seed should get the opener in their home rink.
