It is so hard to predict this game, due to the FBS and Division II opponents the past 3 weeks...that said: UND 41 Northwestern State 17 I'm thinking the team gets on a roll early, and never looks back.

He was at a game for the "Lets Go Sioux!" game intro years ago when he was in the movie "Win a date with Tad Hamilton". I remember this, because I yelled mockingly "its Tad Hamilton"!!!!

It's a Sioux hat, I read somewhere on a UND website or blog or tweet about it awhile ago. That's pretty cool!

Using the dreaded comparative scoring, it would also mean we are better than UMN-Twin Cities in football.

I think USD has a great chance in this one. Probably will be a close one. Harder for USD to get up for this one after they already played at UMN and beat them.

I believe they had the Nickelback song "Burn it Down" during the intro video, but it was barely audible I thought. A very minor part of the whole production.

Why are we still talking about this?

I think this is worth its own heading. I was impressed by the student turnout and involvement during the game. They were pounding on the seats in front of them, and had good involvement. Sure, most left at halftime, but a lot of people did. Also, for the first time that I can ever remember, the PA announcer directed a giveaway to the student section directly, it was nice to hear them get some recognition, even if it was only for some T shirts or mini footballs! Hopefully, the turnout is as good this week against an FCS opponent. Lets show Northwestern State of Louisiana how we do it up here in North Dakota! Now, rest of GF and area, get out and support the team!

This could have been wayyyyy worse. You got the feeling they could go deep on these guys on every play. Lots of runs in the 2nd half, great job by Sioux, look forward to next week and an FCS opponent at home.

Excited for this game. Bought tickets yesterday, the ticket lady said they had sold a lot of tickets, but a good number remain for the "walkup" crowd today. Come out and support the SIOUX! I am excited to see the new gameday atmosphere, enjoy a beer, and see some long touchdowns for the good guys!

Yeah, those teams don't exactly strike too much fear into me, except maybe UW. Penn State will be a doormat for years, but could eventually have a good program.

I live in GF, but if I didn't, I would stay at Canad for the reasons you mentioned above. The shuttles to hockey games are a must, Canad's are fun, Whiteys has 2 (although they are under new management, so we will see what happens with the shuttles), and so many other bars/restaurants have them. The drawback is that you get to the game only 20 minutes before faceoff, so if you want to take your time and walk around the Ralph, which you MUST do, only take a shuttle 1 of the nights.

Now I know how the bison felt when they almost beat Minnesota that year. Lets face it, we all figured 0-2 after those first 2 games. I also have more hope for the rest of the year now.

Damn. That was close folks. Great job by the Sioux after giving up the 16-0 lead early.
