Just like the 25 year old Canadian label is attached to UND, I think the Eaves stocking up on recruits thing will stick with UW for awhile. Both are untrue, but opposing fanbase favorites. Now, what can a UND and UW fan agree to say about the UMN-Twin Cities' program....I will go with: "Lucia doesn't help his players progress!"

Like someone mentioned, there are a good number of excellent seats available for this weekend! Friday has more left than saturday. There are 52 seats available in the student section upper deck alone! GO GET EM SIOUX FANS!

Just checked ticketmaster here at 8:15 central, there are a good number of seats available! These are good seats too, in the lower bowl. Also, some uppers, including student section seating is available. SNATCH EM UP SIOUX FANS!!!!

There has never been an "official" alumni party down there in the 5 or so years I've attended, but you will see Sioux fans everywhere in the bars/restaurants down by the arena. Buffalo Wild Wings, Blue Bricks are my 2 favorite pregame spots. Wild Wings is in this little strip mall thing, and you can walk through it to get to the arena, the Mavericks always have some sort of booster thing going on when we walk towards the arena, we always get a "GO SIOUX!" in there as we walk by! As far as a hotel, I would see if there are rooms at the City Center Hotel, it is the old Holiday Inn, and walking distance to everything, including the arena.

Small place, really not a bad seat in there. Sioux fans will fill sections 100,200, 300 and 101, 201 and 301. Try to get seats there, and it is like you are at a home game. I had to call Ticketmaster and talk to them to select specific seats (as opposed to best available online) Well worth it, in my opinion. Ask what is available in those sections.

Ha, there is also a "No Meth" rule. JK, I hope lots of people show up from both sides.

A little over a week until the Mankato series! Big weekend for WCHA points. If you can make that trip, DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

It sucks. The majority of American Indians and the majority of everyone else is in FAVOR of the name. Unfortunately, in this day and age, that doesn't matter. I have done everything you have listed above, it doesn't matter. The State Board is in charge, and they are committed to drop the name. I hate hate hate this fact.

Just watched the DVR'ed third period highlights. Turd Anderson, yep, use that one folks, is clearly cussing at Chay when he is arguing the Malone penalty. I see 2 clear F bombs yelled by Turd Anderson. Also, the tying goal was iffy. it was ruled no goal on ice, not enough to change that in my opinion. Another observation from being there, Turd Anderson looked up at scoreboard to try and see a replay before heading to view the official replay on that one, he is a bigtime amateur.

Just got back from game. Man, we should have had the W, but also could have lost in OT at the end. I was having flashbacks to the UMD game a few weeks ago! Dell is a very very solid goaltender, he can steal games for us down the road I think. I also saw Genoway get beat a few times tonight. He is very dynamic, but a gambler. I often shudder when he is pinching, I wish he would be just a tad more conservative, not too much though. I hope we can get the sweep vs St Clown, and then against Mankato, big points heading in to the Christmas break in the WCHA. GO SIOUX!

That seems so wrong, but so something the NC$$ would do. I predict a 56-7 trouncing by the Bison against Robert Morris. The real game will be in Montana the following weekend, I would have to say the Bobcats will take care of the Bison, but congrats on making the playoffs. (seriously)

Sounds like both games will be sellouts, even with the students on Thanksgiving break. Yet another weekend against a tough opponent. The nation's toughest schedule just got tougher. I'd like to predict a home sweep, but it is the first half of the year, hard to do that. It would be nice to get an early lead on these guys.
