Man, you said it! His blog is really unprofessional at times also. His little jabs in calling Grand Forks "Fargo", his "team with no nickname" stuff, etc. I think he does it to piss people off and try to gain readership and buzz, which is what the media is all about. Alternatively, you could excel at what you do, like Brad S. does, and gain readership that way....what a crazy idea, eh Roman?

Do we have a "James" in the pipeline? Bartels and James for the TD!!!! It is nice to have 2 great QB's, but man, there could be some really tough battles in spring and fall ball between Bartels and Mollberg.

Speaking of the casual fan: when we played Kingsville in 2008, I am willing to bet that some people thought we were playing THE Texas A&M. I know one person who asked me if that was the case before that game.

This happens to a degree at the Alerus for football, the stands look emptier due to all the people who go stand on the ends and watch the game. (yes I know they would look fairly empty regardless, but the Big Sky will change that)

Don't forget, we will likely have a former UNC QB starting for us also!

You are certainly earning your dollars these past few days I would say. A lot of people are upset, it does go to show you how "spoiled" we have become with the national TV coverage. Most schools didn't have anything close to what UND has had, that said, we cannot lose that option. People don't want to sit by the computer and watch a pixelated broadcast. Young folks maybe, but I think of my uncle who lives outside the region, he would hate sitting by the computer with his beer instead of in his favorite recliner with his remote in hand, bigscreen TV and his beer. I believe something will be worked out by the time the NCHC actually rolls around. If the Big Ten schools have the BTN broadcast a game here or there, they still retain the right to broadcast a game elsewhere on nights the games aren't on BTN (ie: UMN-Twin Cities and Fox Sports North)

One game per weekend it seems, from somewhere in the conference.

Even someone named "drunk hockey guy" knows that his favorite squad is struggling mightily right now. The only question: is it a temporary slump, or is it indicative of how the rest of the season will go? Time will tell. Now, about your ribbing at UND, I'm not sure a Duluth fan can do that. Sure, you won the title last year, but Butler almost won the NCAA BB title 2 years in a row. Is Butler one of the best programs of all time? No, a program that has had a couple good years. Again: your squad is struggling right now, and I like UND's chances in just under 2 weeks.

***Joke alert*** They will put UND in the regional closest to our area because they know how many fans will attend. It doesn't matter what our ranking is, we will get in. The NCAA needs our money. Has anyone ever heard this from a certain fanbase to the southeast of UND???
