I don't listen to the P.A. and Dubay show...I don't think I'm missing much. However, I have been forced to listen to Paul Allen's broadcasts of the Vikings when on the road on Sundays, and can't stand his playcalling. Dubay, from what I have gathered, is a huge Gopher homer, and his comments mean nothing. Why didn't he talk about his beloved rodents losing so much lately? It would be interesting to see what he said about tech sweeping.

UND just tied the Beavers. Hmm.....

Yup, I "member" all the way back to last year when he played for the Sioux.

All I know is that the same ice for the Juniors was up for the Mankato series. Why the new stuff has been up for 2 days I don't know.

I suggest taking the shuttles from local bars. The one from Whitey's is free, not sure about the others. It is a fun way to get to the game.

Matt Greene is wrong. He screwed up bigtime, maybe could have killed someone. Unfortunately, a DUI is pretty common in the high school to college years. How many people do you know that have gotten a DUI, or should have? My point is that Matt is a college student, he did something very stupid that many people in his peer group do. The fact that he is an athlete and in the spotlight magnifies his mistake. Hopefully he learns from his mistake.

Nice to see Brandon and Zach at the top of the AHL. Zach plays for a really bad team, must be hard for him.

U of m? What happened? Getting swept by a team that was 3-17 coming into the weekend has to be sobering. If the golden rodents don't come out strong next weekend, you have to really question their heart.

Good news there. Us Sioux fans aren't used to worrying about RPI or PWR or any of that stuff. It is good to see Maine win. I hope they don't lose another game in the regular season.

Since the Fighting Sioux aren't on, and I can't get any other college game, I've been watching the golden choker game...and am impressed by MTU. That play when my new buddy also (except when he plays the Sioux) John Scott held on to two defenseless little gophers was classic. That play should make ESPN or some highlight show. He had the two little rodent fellows by the back of their necks! I have to say I've never seen anything like that before. 2-1 MTU after 2. Looks like Tech might sweep the "mighty" u of m in their own building. Good for them I say. If they win tonight, they will have won 4 of their last 5 games...for a total of 5 wins on the year. I like the way Tech plays, always all out, make little things happen with their intensity.

With all due respect to everyone posting, I miss the Old REA for this reason: Nobody ever talked about the "old barn" and how great it was and how they miss it oh so much. Why wasn't the "old barn" romanticized like the Old REA is today? GO SIOUX!

Excellent point. The old ralph was great. It is gone, however, and like a dead poet or artist, has been romanticized and seems much greater today than it did in its own time.

They have been getting votes in the polls, they have a good record, they have played the Sioux and other WCHA teams tough in the past. We can't trip up against these guys next weekend.
