If you have a chance to get out of the cities and get a decent paying job in a small northern minnesota town, i'd jump on it. I dream of such things. I love northern minnesota. The lakes are awesome. If you ever want to go back to the cities, they are a medium sized drive away, the best part will be that when you are done with your activities, you get to leave and go back to the great north country.

I have said for a few years now: "If only the fans at the Ralph could come together like road fans". Great article.

If this was a Sioux player, I'd be really embarrassed. Now that it looks like Hirsch has no long term mental problems, it makes what happened look that much worse. I still stand by my prediction that he will be more of a distraction.

I wrote in and said i really enjoyed seeing his mom and dad on tv so much. I also asked if his dad would allow me to partake with he and Mrs. Briggs in a certain french phrase....trois would be one of the words...suprisingly, it didn't get on.

Yeah, I really hate it here. Luckily, I get to leave soon...less than a month now. Only been here about 3 years. I just think it is sad that a town of near 90,000 people seems smaller than GF. I would imagine you are older than I am. For families, Rochester is good. For a college aged person such as myself, Rochester is probably the worst town I've ever been to or lived in. Honest opinion.

I agree. I see a lot of the Sioux in the Maine program. I also cheer for them regularly.

Sure, BU got hosed in the deal...but what about all of those poor Quebec hockey fans that will be forced to see Ray Bourque on any televised game repeatedly, while the announcers compare Chris' game to Rays. "Well Chet, Chris plays a similar game as his father, but Chris is a bit smaller". Hopefully they don't televise those games up there, for the sake of the people...

Depending on the jobs available, I could leave this horrible horrible town known as Rochester, MN and move back to GF. I like to call this town "Rottenchester", MN. Home of the famed Mayo Clinic, and lots of mullets and ultraconservative boring people.

To all the Sioux alums/fans in the area, many of which who work at Mayo. Where are you all going to watch the game? It is fun to go into dirty gopher loving bars and cheer on the Sioux. McMurphy's? Rookies? Wild Wings?

Sounds like more of a distraction than anything.

I love the Doug Flutie and Ray Bourque idea. I got SOOOOOOOOOOO sick of seeing Bourque during the juniors and the BU games this past weekend. They sure didn't show him much after the Sioux got the lead.

His trips are good for GF people, how about those of us in the cities area??? Does he make stops?
