Whiteys had 2 buses running to games last year. Buffalo Wild Wings had a bus also, many bars have this service, I recommend it as they let you drink on the bus!

I also based my comments on actually being at the game. Western has some great athletes...should the Sioux have beat them by more, absolutely, but that is why they play these games on the field. I'm not worried about the Sioux yet, but I do miss Reed Manke.

Western was a much better team than in the past. All the credit goes to their program. Tough game, but these wins build character. We shut them down in the second half and won the game with the defensive stop. 4-0

Very persuasive. UND is clearly THE choice for me. I plan on holding a press conference today at 4:00 p.m. Eastern, 3:00 Central, to announce my committment to the University of North Dakota mens hockey team, effective the 2007-08 season. Seriously though, you make a lot of good points that I'm sure people could add on to. I will add one: Grand Forks is NOT the hell hole that some fans of other programs make it out to be.

Can anyone who was there provide a summary of the day? How was tailgating? Do their fans get into the game? Looked like the stadium is decent, but very very old. Sioux fans seemed really loud on the radio, must have been awesome to witness the win.

The Winona fans we met last year down there were all nice...except for the young punks who threw a rock at our vehicle while we were waving the Sioux flag leaving town.
