Correct, the AHL has enlarged offensive zones and smaller neutral ice, just like the X. Doesn't set up well for the Wisco defensive style. A negative, for anyone that plays Wisco, is that WCHA referees seemed to take the Earl and company diving into account, and he/they did not get the calls. With a non-conference referee, they may get sucked into calling penalties which will bring out the dive team in full force.

It has been for several years. Use to be one semi Thursday night, one Friday, a third place game Sat. afternoon, and the champioship Sat. night. They moved the semis to the same day to avoid giving one team the extra day of rest.
