  1. Now that we can read your rants on ss.com, you may be right
  2. Not sure they'll help you or refer you to ticketmaster, but the box office phone number is 701-777-4689.
  3. Wondered if midcontinent in GF forgot to retune their receiver after putting on the Denver game the week before. The whole game was on the western ND cable stations.
  4. Assuming this home playoff series is on FSSN. Was last year's series vs. Duluth on, can't remember?
  5. Oshie Stafford - shortie Kozek -2 Lee (tipped the puck in on a pass from Duncan, did they give this to Duncan?) Prpich
  6. Sounds like an mcl; likely done for the year.
  7. Mistaken announcement. Both players got 5 minute majors for grabing the face mask; Radke got a 10 minute misconduct also. Huge hits by Kozek, including knocking Scott on his arse, then going to the net for the return pass and the goal.
  8. Tezlak has been unreal. Prpich been roughed up by multiple players and has not retaliated. Call on Porter and earlier on Spirko were bogus. Hard to beleive one bounce could tie this game, Sioux have put on all kinds of pressure but can't beat Tezlak. He's been very lucky also. Full game has been on FSSN out west. Apparently Midco screwed up something in Grand Forks and didn't have things tuned in until the second period.
  9. Can Bison dads beat up Sioux dads?
  10. No "Sioux" rule, but based on seeding. Would appear the #1 seed would play first (5:30), so the Sioux will only play in that game if they are the unlikely #4 seed. Chances are if (when) they make the tourney (as a 2 or 3) they will play the late game.
  11. What section was that? I was in 116 but got moved to 109 this week.
  12. Is this PWR mathematics? Are bonus points involved?
  13. And it took you just under 20 hours to finally say what you intended to say by starting this thread
  14. Greene missed last night's game, guessing due to soreness after his run-in with the Jeep. Commie back in Carolina's lineup, coming back from an injury, but played only about 4 minutes.
  15. That's the way I took it. Amazing that Gwoz can throw a fit and get that kind of result from Shepherd and officials. Any other coach would probably get suspended for a few extra games. IMO, when the Sioux and fans complained excessively a couple years ago (by emails, etc) after the holding, tackling, and ride time by Denver and UAA in series at the Ralph, the following games were ridiculous in that the Sioux were called for a multitude of weanie penalties, many of them holding. Couldn't help but believe that Shepherd was trying to prove a point, "you guys hold, too".
  16. Had a call when I got home from the REA box office, and, the tickets I bought on the first day they were offered are no good (116, row H). No problem, though, since they are replacing them with a pair of seats across the ice in section 109. No explanation as to what happened to the seats originally sold to me. Maybe I was in the middle of a Gopher group and they knew that wouldn't work out
  17. And Gwoz is perched on the dasher helping the good ol' Denver boys decide the Sioux's outcome.
  18. Do you have your seats for the regional?
  19. Downloadable pdf of all the prices for stuff in the suites. $295 prime rib looks to be the top priced item. $60 for cases of Leinie. Don't have too much fun, the suite level, imo, is the best place in the arena from which to watch the game.
  20. Clarification, there are still single tickets left in the lower level. Just no more two or more seats together.
  21. I'll have to look at mine when I get home also.
  22. That's correct. I think the one ticket lists both games. Maybe we won't have to leave the arena between games.
  23. Lower bowl seats in all rows were available for months since they went on sale. Only recently did the "best available seats" become upper level. Would guess lots of Gopher/Sioux fans have made ticketmaster very busy over the last couple weeks. (116, row H, don't remember the seat numbers, but have had them since November)
  24. Anyone wanting to check MG better bring a hummer.

    Sioux/DU

As far as WCHA standings, yes, although I'd like another Sioux/SCSU matchup, revenge for the previoius sweep at the REA. Also, Mankato "seems" like the tougher opponent right now, although Wisco looked like a bottom feeder team this weekend. Either provides a TUC opponent for the Sioux. On the other hand, the Sioux won't catch CC in PWR, but Denver could be competition for the Sioux getting a spot in the NCAA's. So on that note, a CC sweep could put Denver in fourth and provide them with a first round TUC opponent, good for Denver, so maybe a split would be better for the Sioux as it relates to PWR also. The real reason for the "go cc", however, is that I want Gwoz and Punko out of the NCAA's, by whatever means possible. Have no respect for the grabbing, tackling, interfering style that Gwoz coaches, and even less respect for a program with Punko who are now "turning their back" and diving to draw 5 minute CFB penalties. Punko himself should have had 2 CFB's this weekend on plays that did not involve the Sioux player "turning his back". Nor did the player dive to try and draw it. Somehow it just doesn't sit well with me that the team and player responsible for the CFB rule is now taking advantage of it.
