  1. That's got to be the wildest radio booth celebration ever Thanks to HC for getting the Sioux crowd rolling; the noise following the OT goal continued right through the Sioux coming out to warm up. I'd be really disappointed if I'd have had to miss this regional in person (dagies? )
  2. You're correct, not the current WCHA referee, but the one that retired a couple years ago. Always got those guys mixed up, although I thought they were always generally better than the rest of the crew.
  3. Who are the three?
  4. Is Don Adam a lawyer. Mr. Schmitt is sitting in our office as I type. Should I pass on all the complaints concerning the Shephard led crew before he leaves?
  5. You might want to check the Badger board. May be able to get someone to sell a Thursday afternoon ticket, has to be plenty of Badger fans with packages that won't show up until late Thursday. http://mb28.scout.com/fwisconsin36703frm6

    Frozen four

Thanks, didn't know the AHL had reduced the neutral zone to create larger attack zones as the NHL did. Seems to favor the Sioux's offense imo.
  7. Since the Sioux used the pbox next to your 109 seat, you'd have had noone to give crap to when they visited the sin bin. Imagine it was disappointing when the Gopher pbox became the Sioux pbox after one game.
  8. So why did you leave your seat beside the pbox in 109 and head for section 116?

Is the rink at Milwaukee 200x85? And, are the offensive zones enlarged like those in the X? As much as I don't like Olympic sized rinks in college hockey, I do like the enlarged offensive zones in NHL venues. It makes it a bit harder for the Wisco's of the worlds' style of play.
  10. Can't remember it; could you hum a few bars
  11. Have to agree. Anyone that wasn't a college hockey fan that happened to run across the UW/Cornell game yesterday will never watch a college hockey game again. What a snoozefest. Near 100 shots and were any of them scoring chances other than the GWG (maybe 5 or less total).
  12. The NCAA may have to make a quick rule change and have a shoot out instead, although it may still take 2 or 3 hours before someone scores. Would each shootout chance then be called a "quality scoring chance"; maybe not if it's Wisco and Cornell
  13. After the Friday HC win, the halls of the REA were full of Gophers trying to sell their tickets. Apparently they managed to get rid of lots of them as the sections they vacated filled by the end of the first period of the Sioux/Mich game. (Unless many gophers just removed their jerseys between games ) Good night that was loud in there.
  14. Hwy 52, then hwy 2, from the west border to the east border.
  15. Heisenberg now lists him as a Sioux commitment. Excellent
  16. Fortunately for the NCAA, the PWR ratings, along with only 4 WCHA teams rather than 5 being in, fell right so that the pairings allow only 2 WCHA teams to have a chance at Milwaukee. East teams are staying east also (except Cornell, guess they like to hear Schaeffer bitch), and only the CCHA is scattered east and west.
  17. Try the ticket forum on this site or the ticket exchange on the REA web site.

Minnesota name change controversy: POI is now SOI (sieves on ice)
  19. Seems that quite a few 109 tickets have been available lately. Hopefully its gone to mostly Sioux fans. I was in 116 when I bought tickets last fall, but got a call that my tickets in 116 would not work, so they moved me to 109 (row c also). Guess we'll be rather close to each other.
  20. I believe it is set up so that the 1 seeds play early, and potentially (if they win) get the couple hours extra rest before the next day's championship tilt. It does get confusing with the Gopher final five rule, but no such rule exists for "hosts" in the regionals.
  21. Hope Sioux fans fill the place. Still tickets for sale on ticketmaster. Get 'em before the Mich contigent does.
  22. East stays east and west stays west, for the most part. And the BC/BU final out east will get its test from the CCHA this year. Chances are a bit better the east will get that game.
  23. No worry about Cornell; they're down 6-2 with under 8 minutes left.
  24. So who is printing and delivering this to shep at the organ bar.
  25. Thin down mayo with milk, add black pepper and, the most important ingredient, white pepper, a good amount of it. That's it. You'll know it's right when it starts to smell like an RP grinder.
