These two referees are the ones needing suspensions. Good grief, they can't figure out how to set up 2 minors on WMU, and a double minor on UND. Now UND penalties are flowing, 5 on 3 after the first referee mess was over. Don't believe there is a hockey fan, player, or coach in the arena that can figure out what is going on.

I think the problem is the neulion/wmu combo; of course neulion never has problems, according to them.

St. Clair needs to be back in the lineup when he's 100%, he is their best forward PKer.

IMO Simpson, Schmaltz, Stecher, Ladue are the top 4, 5 and 6 come from the others, with Thompson and Ausmus probably being the two most, if not all, the time. And I forgot about Mattson, maybe a forward is the best place for him. Mark did not look like he was skating full speed like we've seen him before the injury, hope he gets up to speed quickly without screwing up the hip/or whatever it was. Same with OD, not quite the same player that we saw early in the season or against BU. That faceoff goal might have been the ugliest face off effort I've ever seen, WMU pushed the puck forward rather than pulling it back (maybe the Sioux center actually won it by pulling it back), then WMU gets what essentially was a 2 on 0 in front of Gothberg.

Can't believe ESPN demands payment via ESPN3 (by your isp) or game plan to watch any of the playoff games on TV, prior to the championship. They've buried these playoffs so deep that only fans of the teams in the playoffs will watch. I guess they apparently won't even sell it to local or regional networks.

Since the first game, the line Pattyn has been on has been the only line consistently pinning the opponent in their own end, the only line consistently getting to dump ins and recovering the puck, the only thing lacking was scoring goals, which they've added the last few games.

Missed the kid below them, and didn't see those two rows in front of me. Uncle to the girls' dad said, "how bout a puck for these girls", and I turned around and passed it up to them. Pays to ask. Was the right choice, the girls' dad had been in a fatal car accident the week before.

Didn't have the hat on when in the seats Saturday night. One of the pucks that came over the glass landed at my feet; was sitting in the third row at the time. gave it to a couple young girls a couple rows behind me.

We were in 110, second row. Had to have a guy move to get into seats Saturday night pre-game. He stood up and turned to look my way, and it was Tony Hrkac. He, his wife, and family (assume it was his 2 daughters) were beside us in the row.

Hat was on at the series this weekend, looked hard to find someone else with one, but never did. Had to be one or more there with a hat, but hard to sort out among a crowd of 10000+

Like York, when they finally win 1 they may win 3 in 10 years. No one can turn on auto win. May be more likely to win with a less dominant team, since dominant teams turned Denver into a hold and interfere team to win, and Michigan into pack the net rope-a-dope team to win. Both needed a few lucky deflections, bounces, with all the puck possession and shot attempts the Sioux had, but it didn't happen. Tech played the same game as Michigan in the playoff series prior to the final five, kept the game close and as winnable as the Michigan game, but a few bounces and the Sioux won 3-1 I believe.

Hope to bring those as well as others next March. Course you have to have an in with Mafia if you're going to get them all. Maybe let him pass you in post count by March? Hey, I mixed, stuffed, and smoked it. Comes from the grocery store in Crosby. With the oil bus. up there we've had sausage hauled and shipped all over the country. All of our fresh meat pull gets stripped for jerky or ground for sausage, nothing thrown away. Some of those guy haul off 5-600 bucks worth when they go south for a visit home. Sent a boatload to Texas with some truckers a couple weeks ago. Maybe it was the football season that left everyone depressed before starting the hockey season.

The difference from Friday to Saturday was striking. In fact Saturday was so much better than any game so far this year (including the wins) that it gave some of us hope. Still should have scored more, but hoping that will come. They looked like Sioux teams from the past (the good past) on Saturday.

I remember him more for his days as an Islander during the Bossy and co. dynasty.
