  1. No doubt they paid to get it, even though it was fta.
  2. Probably mis-posted here. The Dish feed came from 129, Midco was probably attempting (and not so well) to point at 83W, where NESN originated on satellite.
  3. No doubt; Bennedeto and Miller on Friday; wonder if those four are as good as it gets? OD was great, even better than his first few games before the injury. He had to have been playing injured last year to look so much different. Sioux's biggest loss is St. Clair and his PKing; he was a large part of that run of kills the Sioux had up to the time of his injury. The team is still a bit scoring challenged given all the great chances they created, but, like in prior years, when the bad luck breaks, they will beat someone badly. That was the Sioux team I've been waiting to watch since the season started.
  4. I'm headed for the SLU series; they won't lose.
  5. He was good, but his rebound control was lacking. Must have been near double figures in second chances that just hopped a Sioux stick are went beyond the guys stick at the net. And he certainly thought he'd let in 3 or 4 more, with all the times he looked behind him. RU talking about the OD slashing penalty when he went to the net and took a 2 hander from the BU player, only to get stuck in the box, for breaking the BU players stick with his body? Effort should give hope for the rest of the season, for those who had written it off as a lost cause
  6. OD's penalty changed from slashing to taking a two hander
  7. Sioux deserve the W; now go get it
  8. The two that did Lowell/Notre Dame were even worse than this pair
  9. So close to so many juicy rebounds, and just can't connect. BU's been much more lucky then good tonight
  10. Call em, tell them to get their dish pointed directly at 129, rather than off a few clicks
  11. Do you have the multi sports pak, and get all the 412 regionals. They had a half price 6/mo for 6 months deal.
  12. Midco has to be picking this off satellite. They are not pointed accurately if it's pixelating
  13. That's on 412-26 FSN, better check the guide
  14. Then that would be fo twelve twenty fo
  15. I have a hopper, so it's 412-24; not sure on an older receiver
  16. No problems on dish
  17. True, can add Michigan to BU as well. Speaking of brutal HE refs, Lowell/Notre Dame is on NESN this afternoon. ND gets a goal waived off when the ND forward gets pushed into the goalie, gets called for INT, goal waived off, Lowell scores on the PP, the ND bench says something after the Lowell goal, gets a bench minor, Lowell scores again. a 3 goal turn around in under 60 seconds.
  18. those are uber jorkmanb type numbers, right Mr. Wilbur's Dad? Didn't miss any of the home games during that loser season.
  19. Probably, but BU was playing much better down the stretch than Yale (at least seemed to be, unless the ECAC was much better than HE). The point is, a late game goal to tie and a winning goal in OT vs. the Gophers seemed to turn Yale into a new team. Anyone can win, but you have to make the tourney, even it it's barely slipping in. As it was, the WCHA appeared to be highly over-rated when it came to the tourney. Parity has arrived, and aside from (possibly) the AHA and maybe this year's WCHA, no conference appears to be clearly better than any other.
  20. Last year BU lost to Lowell in the HE finals, eliminating them. Had BU won the autobid, the eliminated team would have been--Yale. An improbable natty at best, given who they beat to get it, and how they barely slipped into the tourney
  21. He may be hearing the voices in your head
  22. From us, yes, I'll agree, but I don't think he'd have actually lost his job without the last two. While I hope we can't help fire our own coaches on this forum, I hope we haven't helped fire others as well. The limited number of Gopher fans in the X when MN was absent for two years in a row recently were all over the "fire Lucia" comments. That was them, not us.Had one older drunk fan approach me and kid leaving the arena following the Sioux's win in the championship game, who, with no better barb to come up with at the time, said to us, "next year, Blais will be here coaching the gophers". Guess that was supposed to make us mad?
