The one good thing, got to watch them lose both games on national TV. Guess that's two good things. Seems like the CBS exclusivity clause did more to eliminate college hockey from TV than get it on. IMO there's little to watch on CBSSN.

After skipping two weekends of college hockey, CBSSN returns with two games involving B1G schools (won't deny they turned out to be good games). When BTN shows a game, it's a conference game between 2 B1G schools. CBSSN, shows their disinterest in the NCHC exclusive deal by ignoring conference matchups, and picking non-con games that have B1G teams playing. What a crap deal the NCHC made. End rant.

Have wondered for years who's fault that loss was, and now I've known since last March. We need to keep you at home and out of the Yost arena.

The broadcast page on undsports gives better info on what you'll get with the standard and premium apps. http://www.undsports...0&ATCLID=785161 If that info was duplicated from the pages accessed with the "learn more" links from the mobile apps page, we wouldn't have all the confusion. Edit: Matt just updated the "learn more" pages and has the live men's hockey games added in "BOLD". He's also asking neulioin to update and add that same info on the google play and itune app sites. Just searched for Jayson's post, and the android app that includes live video for home games was published on Oct. 18, so it should be available.

That's the wrong "learn more". Click the one under the android app. You can scan the code on that page and download the standard app to your android smart phone. Edit: just went to the google play download page and it states the premium app allows on demand and live audio, nothing about live video, although it seems like earlier in this thread Jayson posted that live video was up and running as well. At any rate UND needs to answer that question if the live video doesn't show on your smart phone. Not sure why their webpages aren't updated with correct information, if live video is actually included, as it is on the iphone premium app. Neither the und iphone, ipod page nor the itunes download page show anything concerning availabilty of live video with the premium app, but I've used it on the ipad, and live video is there. Please update your web site UND so we all know what is going on. Just looked at the iphone app on my ipad, and the audio and video streams are both there (audio at 7, video at 7:30). The "watch" and "listen" buttons show up on the app links at start time (7 or 7:30)

It's supposed to, but you have to be a undinsider subscriber plus upgrade from the standard android app to the premium app. That works for the iphone app. The UND website just says the premium apps add on demand and "much more". The live streams are part of the "much more" on the iphone app. The road games that are free for undinsiders (if the opponent uses neulion for it's webcasts) did not come up on the iphone app, but home games have. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for html5 and the actual ipad app, which hopefully will allow a full screen stream. UND has said that neulion has began changing some content to html5, but are not sure of the timetable for live streams being changed. When that is finally done, UND will have to publish an ipad app.

Very poor start to televising college hockey in general. Seems like the whole sport has almost disappeared from the tube. Don't understand why CBSSN wouldn't pick up Miami/SCSU.

I asked neulion that question, since they are the one's making the change (und will then publish an ipad app). Neulion, once again gives me a canned response, "You will have to check with UND for that" . The most worthless support (neulion) one could ever experience.

The first one is at the beginning of the highlights on undsports. Not sure, but it looked like the SC dman got his stick on Rocco's hands just as he made the move back to his forehand, which seperated him from the puck, in what looked to be a sure goal. I thought it could have been a penalty, much like the slash on another of his breakaways.

Northern Colorado nearly beat Montana State yesterday. I don't think next week's game looks winnable at this point. The home field in Greeley looks like a high school field, with a few bleachers (and empty ones at that) on each side of the field.
