That would probably be tough this year, but if they are a playoff team every year fans would be able to plan for it and change their plans.

Not too many people are going to give us respect so the boys are going to have to take it. Win out, get in the playoffs, and win some games once they're there. If that were to happen then they will have had back to back winning seasons, a playoff appearance, and some wins in the playoffs. All they would have to do after that is continue to string together winning seasons. If that happens they would then get the benefit of being viewed as a contender year in and year out. That should lead to a little bit of love in the polls year after year. Fair or not they haven't established a good pattern of being a contender in FCS and that is at least in part what the polls are based on for the people that never see us play. I think Bubba has this team on the path to becoming a playoff team every year.

Poor Murphy, can't find the net.

3-2 good guys. UND controls the game, but the score remains close.

I'm pretty sure it's Jost sounds like most.

Nice work by Olson on the shorty.

I still think Yon would be a good fit on the heavy line.

If the kid wants to visit it would be rude to say no.

Maybe we should use Santiago the way that Florida used Percy Harvin.

Should there be a change to NCAA vs. CIS exibition games.

That may not of been his intent. He could have just been trying to throw it. Without actually seeing what happened it's hard to make a judgement. I know from time to time reading things that the opposition reporters say about UND it not always true. (or the entire story anyway) And we all see our teams through tinted glasses. (some more then others) -

Without knowing everything, there's two sides to every story. -

I think there's lots of reasons to like the game against Manitoba. Get the young guys out there. Get a win. Try some line combinations. They're usually older experienced guys. (not more skilled then us, but they usually put up a fight for a while) They've played games by the time we play them. (chemistry and game shape for them) They play physical. (good for the boys to take and give some hits before the season starts) We recruit Canada. (would like to play more Canadian teams like they did a couple years ago) -
I liked the grey uniforms.

NORTH DAKOTA vs. Manitoba - Saturday GAMEDAY ********

I was out of town so I finally got to watch the game. Maybe I'm the only one, but based on the exhibition game I would like to see them try Yon on the heavy line. He's got speed, a good shot, and didn't seem to be afraid to go to the dirty areas. I think it'd be nice to have a shooter on that line now that LJ is gone. -
I'm following. I appreciate the updates.

A strong D-corps is a good place to start. They shouldn't be as high scoring, but if they have good goaltending the could still have a good year. -

I think they should have both Santiago and Olivera in the backfield at the same time as often as they can. It should open up some room for both or you could put Santiago in motion and line him up as a WR. I'll admit I'm not the greatest football mind, but with the lack of big time offensive players shouldn't you have both of them on the field as much as possible.

Just hope we don't ever go undefeated, tough to make the playoffs with no quality losses.

D-line INT, when was the last time the Vikes had one of those.
