I used to be on the same team in a pool league with Ben Brien. He put a lot of work into making that logo. I was on Bisonville last night and they were asking me if I was Darell, kind of funny

If we're going to be serious Big Sky contenders, we need both games. -
Yes, and it looks even a little better today. It starts to grow on people. It just looked so bla at the beginning, maybe because the Brien logo had so much art in it?

Here a few players I could think of that did well at UND Herman Watesek (Lankin) (34, 35, 36 UND) 37-42 NBL Chuck Wolfe (Minot) (50 - 53 UND) Minneapolis Lakers 53 Jon Haaven (Mcintosh, MN) (55, 56, 57 ND) 1957 drafted Minneapolis Lakers Phil Jackson (Williston) (65, 66, & 67 UND) NBA NY Nicks Chris Fahrbach (Menasha, WI) (76-79 UND) 1979 drafted Milwakee Bucks Dan Clausen (Australia) (80, 81, 82 UND) professional career in Turkey and Australia. Scott Guldseth (Edingburg) early 90's Dave Vonesh (EGF, MN) (89, 90, 91 UND) Jerome Beasley (Compton, CA) (02, 03 UND) 2003 Miami Heat

Bizon are slipping, their talent pool is diminishing. Montana, James Madison, and the 2 SD's beat them in the last 2 seasons. Hope we beat them soon!

Good for you, enjoy the game!

Interesting article in today's GF Hearld sports page: UND using crowdfunding to raise money. " A couple of UND athletic programs that were considered for elinination this fall are receiving a financial shot in the arm through a crowdfunding project set up by the Alumni Association. "- 2,150 replies

2016-2017 College Hockey (Non UND Hockey)
BarnWinterSportsEngelstad replied to cberkas's topic in Men's Hockey
Understand, sound like a Bizon FB fan in that what happened before the 1960's don't count. So in reality, we have 8 natty's and Mich has 9. I'd say let's go get the next couple before Mich. does. -

This Mich team has 9 Natty's. We can't let them beat us in the playoffs for quite some time. Only team ahead of us. -

Coach Flick from WMU goes to MN. Posters on Bznvil are commenting that this rah rah rah coach ain't going to last in MN. Players will get tired of this rah rah rah, that stuff wears off fast. He's alot like Tim Brewster. gophersports.com interview with new MN Coach Flick: http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaa...NpW?li=BBnb7Kz Posters are now worried Coach Klieman may end up in WMU. I doubt it: Remember the pre-game, fire-up, rah rah, speech the James Madison coach gave his players in the Fargo Dome at the Bizon's last game? And later, JM goes onto win the Natty? This Fleck has a different kind of energy, which might be somewhat demanded in their next coach at WMU. Therefore, Coach Klieman shouldn't be approached, Bizon are safe.

Jones should have his players up for these Montana boys this weekend. I say we beat MSU by 12; and with UM, who scores last wins. -
We need a new coach. Absolutely can't double down on Jones for another 10 years, not even one more year. Jones has showed us his program. Faison has to be preparing for a coaching change. How can this process be started before the season is over; so AD can be ready to hire shortly after season completion? I cheer for UND to win every game, so don't get me wrong. If we happen to win most of the remaining games, that's great, but hopefully that's not a reason to keep Jones. We need a change to try and find the right guy. After ten years like this, a coach doesn't turn the program around and have payoff teams the next ten years. Let's move on. Unless you hire from within, there's usually some jet lag to a college sports program, when your x-coach flies out of town for the last time. So, let's soon get the process started and find a new coach.
