This rivalry is coming back. It's more like BB used to be when UND was running hockey out of the Barn. Lot's of chippy stuff (with no three-pointers and a T-foul for dunking); gives sports writers and commentators the energy to use adjectives in front of all nouns, makes fans come back, gets the community talking the game till the next rivalry game, sometimes even longer, read further. You couldn't fit the BB crowds of back then into the Betty. How could all of us have let it slip away???? Dunk with 5 seconds, they were pressing us, great!!!! It's like why the hell schedule this BB game during break, it's a rivalry. I don't get it, Bison home game wasn't during break.

The time out with 24 sec left is what caused all the friction. That was a horse sh$t call. I'll never forget Jones' expression when they called that time out.

If i remember right, it seemed like last years SU BB game was sold out or if not close to it. Not close to a sell out this year.

So what is with Big Sky, most talent on offense: Is that the way high schools do it in the west, put best talent on offense? Do Big Sky college coaches move talented playes to offense? Why not move some offensive athletic players to defense?

Here's my take: SU calls time out with 24 sec. left and 12 point lead to rub it in. Players smiling around huddle 10' onto floor. Jones is flabbergasted and stands on the floor staring at their huddle, like is this for real. UND team barley huddles up before the whistle. Play resumes and gets chippy. T fouls called. Takes refs 15 minutes to get game restarted to finish last 16 sec. Lesson learned: Game isn't over till fat lady sings. This game wasn't over till the last second expired.

Agree, and he's all ND. Shock hands with Bubba last night standing in line to get into the BB game. Congratulated him on a very successful season. He's all smiles, but I could sense not satisfied, replied about how they have to be/will be better. Really gotta like the guy!

I received this Alumni Review yesterday. Maybe Kennedy is giving sports a blessing? Waving hand on top. Maybe he means what he said about winning teams?

The FB gods and Hockey gods got together last night, answered our wishes, they ran the Bizon over the cliff, what a thunder that was. Milk Town will never be the same. A true market (fan) correction. Today is Bizon football hangover day!!!!!!!!!!! Bisonville is just pathetic, they're going to need another slap. Maybe we will be matched up with them next year in the playoffs, maybe they don't even make the playoffs! I can't wait for next year's FB! In the mean time, we have Hockey and BB to watch, what a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do we know it was Faison's decision? Nearly everybody knew the Bizon lost anyway, but it just would of gave the BB team a boost. There is definetly a rivalry in basketball: Bizon called timeout with 24 sec. remaining with 12 point lead to rub it in, when play resumes a skirmish erupts and 3 T fouls on UND, 1 T foul on NDSU and 1 on each team coach. Took refs about 15 minutes to resume play with 16 sec left to play.

Just got home from BB game, pretty sad. Best part was, there was a little roar when the Bizon FB team lost. Hooker played like last game and forced some shots. We missed a ton of free throws, and forced more shots. Defense was slow at times. Refs were not good. We lost. SU calls timeout with 24 sec. remaining and with 12 point lead to rub it in, When play resumes a skirmish take place, 3 T fouls on UND and 1 on NDSU and I on each coach. Proves rivalry is not dead. 3 Police on floor for final hand shake.
