Therefore, this thread's title "Fire Brian Jones?" must have some merit to the concerns of many of the posters here on SS. My free throw: Last game was a complete embarrassment, while I'm at it, so were many games in this coaching tenure. Coach has proven over too many years that he can't win at the level UND BB should. Players are not playing to their full potential and don't play in a way to compliment each other's talents to create a good team. Even with the previous talent statement being said, our players are not as good as some posters here may lead us to believe. ND's and UND's budget worries may make an early coaching change a challenge, so maybe an assistance as interim coach?

Does anyone change coaches, like at the beginning of conference play? or do we really have to wait till this season is over?

Member all those budget cutting and team chopping posts this last fall; also, those spreadsheets and comments on each sports costs and the income they bring in (by the ticket gate and/or advertising)? I haven't seen anything officially on FB donations, but most likely fans of FB will be more generous to the U, but that's hard to gauge, because a lot of donations go the the U without a sport specific requirement, even though a certain sport was a contributing factor to some giver's motivations. And, FB season ticket sales are going up from last season.

That 13 year stretch is were they got their big heads (like many Bizon fans now have) and left the BSC, now their waggling their tales on the return!

For me that Eagles loss and having the Bizon pretty much get beat across the board; gets me real excited about next season. We could possible beat both teams. Realize we play E Eash our last game and only chance at Bizon would be in playoffs!!!!!!

It's been a long time since I went to a FB, BB, or Hockey game in Milk Town. Always been jabbed. Wait here, they don't have Hockey?

The B1G well have scrappier games than this. McCaffery shouldn't of walked off and apperently apologized. That changes things alot vs. him continuing a rage over this. There was no foul called. So we get over this. This game was different in a way to our players, and not yet mentioned here. UND playing Iowa? No big deal to Iowa, big deal to us. Our guys might of taught is was important close to the end, if we're going to loose, loose by less. We don't get these games often? I give UND a lot of credit, enjoyed watching it.

How can (7 players not playing cuz of this) be kept quiet through the game?

I saw some shoving at the SU game I was at, I wouldn't call it "Fights at end of ndsu game". Nobody has been convicted of an assault and preparing for judge ordered anger management classes. I give Jones credit at that game with the 24 sec time out, keeping his cool and acting like what is this calling time out? I give Jones credit after this game and keeping his cool and again acting like what is this, coach is walking off? Jones has arguably the best talent of his career, he might surprise us. Hawks played against some talent tonight.

Fran looked pretty tense in this post game interview, made a comment that he didn't want to have the potential for more happening in the hand shake, or something like that. He might of been back tracking some, realizing he might of made too quick a decision to walk off the court? It sure seemed that his leaving sure surprised most of the players.

This reluctant to walk off of the Iowa players is what I noticed right away, seemed to me it wan't bad enough walk off. Iowa coach did deflect embarrassment of a close game some to a on the court antics hoopala, whatever that's worth. He might of been still bitter of the T-foul Hooker suckered them in on?

I give UND lots of credit for staying in this one. Iowa had opportunities to pull away, but UND didn't let them. Iowa must be storming in their locker room, poor babies.
