Every year in every conference there are a couple of disappointments ( us last year) and one or two surprises... I firmly believe we surprise others this year !

UND football just landed its seventh commitment (third in-state) for the 2019 recruiting class. Luke Lennon, a 6-5, 210 TE from West Fargo and the nephew of legendary UND coach Dale Lennon, has verballed to the Fighting Hawks.

Ketteringham is the man and will be the starter with Zimmerman a fine #2. Studsrud was fine but to scripted in his play. Ketteringham can flat out play with a great arm and the ablility to run...so says a couple of coaches.

With the new NCAA rule, true freshman can play in up to 4 games and not lose their redshirt year. Throw them into the a few games and see how they do.

Once enrolled and excluding a medical hardship, you have 5 years to complete 4 years of eligibility.

He already used his redshirt year, if he transfers without graduating...he doesn’t have any eligibility left

Come June, it may not matter anymore as the NCAA will be voting on changing the transfer rules. If approved by the NCAA, players will be able to tranfer anytime, anywhere, any division. If this passes, your higher end mid major players will be gone after a year or two... welcome to the JV league

Can’t transfer without first graduating. Maybe he is a typical 20 yr kid that simply loves to attend summer school ....

Could Geno be the next one to leave after the summer?? Hearing he is taking a unusual amount of summer classes that will allow him to graduate (transfer ?)

I agree, the hard core fans will attend wherever the game will be played. The causal fan (my wife) attends all the home games, but would never attend an outdoor game if colder than 70 degrees and the wind blowing more than 10 mph. Bottom line, indoor stadiums will always attract and be much better attended by the causal fan and therefore more tickets sold.

Saw NDSU and many other coaches at the recent big Prep Hoops aau tournament in Minneapolis this past weekend, no UND though. 20 of the top 25 MN kids were playing
