Another Grand Forks city council/Alerus Center committee fail. They had ten years to plan for this. While the guy is hard to hear and understand what he is saying. I thought he made it sound like UND/GF want to amend the contract to make sure they are playing at the Alerus all ten years on the new turf. Unless I misunderstood, I didn't necessarily hear anything about UND not wanting to play at the Alerus Center after the new turf expires.

And when others think of North Dakota they think of hockey.

I think it stems from Bradely being a junior college transfer vs a top 20 quarterback out of high school who is now a very mature graduate of an FBS program, albeit as a backup. With that said. I don't get excited about HS recruitment highlight videos. Every candidate looks good in those.

For what its worth, UND had the black pants during the USD game this year...Pat Sweeney said it was "what the players wanted." And apparently it brought them a little bit of good luck.

I know a bartender there, Ben, who is having a benefit tonight there. I will shortly be attending. I mentioned I heard that since the apt were built it was starting to draw an younger crowd too. He said he didn't necessarily agree.

I there last year and the Friday game the upper bowl was open attendance was 11181. The UNO fans kept telling us saturday there would be a big dip in attendance as Nebraska had a home game. They were right as attendance was 7027. Both nights the upper bowl was not "closed off."

Yeah that and the white sauce is legendary. But I don't know how much appeal it has if you're out of town...its almost like fast food....great for the locals.

While you have a point. I don't try and discredit people just cause they never attended UND. He is a true bloood Fighiting Sioux fan. While I don't agree with him, he has heart and for that he is a great Sioux fan.
