Isn't UNDs "FCOA" nearly double that of NDSU? Meaning UND could offer a star recruit $6,000 and NDSU could only offer $3,000? "so what is the bigger draw"?
The ncaa never forced UND to stop fighting Sioux. UND chose to. UND can be the fighting Sioux tomorrow if they wanted. But the people of the state realized the consequences and voted to get rid of it.
Where's the petition that I hear is going around North Dakota to stop LSS? What if they got enough votes to put it on the states ballot? Bye. Bye. Will there new building get foreclosed and turned into something useful like a Hooter Restaurant?!
I don't know much about Bison athletic buildings because basically I don't care but I know they are also looking to save construction money where they can on the remodeled BSA. What I find interesting is I can't remember the last time UND has had to raise any sort of money to build any significant athletic building. Before I was born? Hyslop? Alerus: city owned. REA: one nice fellow. Betty: one nice lady bonded cause of one nice fellow. Old Ralph: students voted to raise the money themselves. Am I missing something? One indoor practice facility with 30 years to fundraise?
Looks like in addition to not having enough money in this phase for the spectator seating but also the elevated cat walk that was in the original plans.
