I'm confused. You're first link (the test image) looks more dated than the current page? When comparing the two, I do think the newer test page looks better. I'm a millenial, I need more pictures! I guess I was talking about how the current front page looks compared to the test "front page." Did you just call me good people?

I didn't know I had to "take sides." I like the Roughriders nickname from Day One it was announced The Sioux was retired. It was my top pick. And believe me, I did everything I could to try and get people on board. The first loser's not too bad. But now UND is the Fighting Hawks. Nothing I can do about it now, but try and embrace it and try and find the positives. Follow my lead you'll go far. My father introduced me to John Denver, and I've always loved....

No. Blaine is a kid. The one being asked about and reported by the Herald was a UND professor. It's so popular the only people that have seen it are Herald reporters.

What a perfect time to start vetting the names. As I've said before, and I'll say again, at least with Roughriders you had a quasi History & Tradition built in that one could incorporate. Now, we must start anew. And by new, I mean copy all the other Hawk stuff out there. Seattle Seahawks has the "Hawks Nest" and probably 50 others, I'll count down the days til UND uses it.

Reminds me of the High School kids in Devils Lake that showed how popular the name of "Blaze" was going to win...until the administration found out it was being voted on because of its drug reference. The school board took that name off the list real quick. Since UND students are one step above HS, it all makes sense.
