"Did you spend a bunch of time or money removing those popular Sioux items in your establishment since they adapted a new nickname a couple weeks ago?" "No." "Absolutely Shocking. I can't wait til people hear about this one!"

Like Josh Duhamel only charging the state of North Dakota $500,000 for his week worth of work?
-
When I read that article a few days ago, I thought to myself "Oh must be a slow news day." Then I realized its a slow news day around here like 90+% of the time.
-
Can't you go back and look? You need people to do it for you?

A few minutes before:

I pointed out a few years ago http://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/15263-thought-hiring-idalski-was-a-bad-idea/ of which Feb, 2011 Not sure what the conference standings vs preseason polls have been since?

Here's SDSU's finished walls: The more I compare the two facilities the more I'm impressed with UND's. Field goal posts (Maybe SDSU's are portable?) Multitone track. UND's sweet multitone turf. The walls. The light ring that goes around it. Can't tell by the pictures but looks like the actual turf of UND's is more grass like. (maybe its the same?) UND's turf stretches the entire length of the track and is a "full" 100 yards.
-
Took me a while but I see it. That would be sweet. If Brien did the new logo, that's something he'd probably do. Just like he did with his name in the Sioux logo.

How many tickets could NDSU sell vs the Griz? 30,000?
-
UND needs to concentrate on its (sports) core competencies. I knew that UND education would come in handy one of these days.
-
"We need a boost. Let's bust out the black logo for tonight's game!"
-
Shouldn't the most important part of the equation be a great head coaching resume not a connection to UND? I see one with a great historical resume (his teams have gotten better every year). And he oddly doesn't belong amongst the other three for some reason.
-
I like how SIU did that. Not a bad idea to implement at UND. Also commonplace is you're buyout (contract) is "this" minus whatever you start to make at your new job that year if you get one.

Every message board has a "Fire XYZ" threads. And Philly ain't any different.

The overall black lines of the outline and interior feather etc. The "first white version" you posted.
-
I'd say thicker lines for the white version?
-
Any ideas when this (software) update is getting an update?

And its hockey at Fricken North Dakota for Pete's sake! Women should be way better than this!

Hindsight is 20/20. Didn't Faison have to use some law about posting internally so many days before it could be posted externally blah blah. Then they interviewed candidates which took time. Better to get things right the first time. Also sounds like Faison has to play within the Athletic Department rules, which has been clear "We don't have much money for coaches so we can only offer them extensions instead of raises (Mussman and Jones). Those things are the smaller day to day things I was talking about that history will easily forget about. "Took too long to fire Jones and Mussman and took to long to hire new coaches." Both of which I believe Faison didn't hire? But did actually fire before contracts were up? Those are smaller blunders than saying we will stay d2 while our peers move up. Which we all know we will do eventually but we just wanna wait. History remembers the bigger picture.
-
Forgot about that. And might be the reason UND is was (is) so far behind others...Counter that with how Faison had the fore site when the B1G was created.
-
For all the flak Faison gets, I think he has done some things that other AD's might not have that will help benefit UND long after he's gone. He might not be good with the smaller day to day operations, but with basically creating the country's strongest collegiate hockey conference and helped build the IPF, and got UND into its destination Division I conference in the Big Sky. I think his legacy might not be too bad. Bunning on the other hand....all he did was pushups.

That's what people said about Roger Thomas. How was his scorecard? (not being facetious, I don't remember) and why did he leave the position?
-
And that was for a more popular sport with more fans.
