Dave claims a college fund for his 5 grandkids.
I'd probably sell mine too after 30 years. He's got the memories. It could otherwise end up in one of his kids attic someday. Might as well go to a collector who will proudly display it along side all his other expensive collectables.
"Months after choosing a new nickname, schools hockey arena sells new order of old nickname clothing."
I have no problem with it, but let's not pretend ordering clothing was the only way to keep the trademark.
I read it as "Grand Forks" because that's where UND is located.
The days when basketball was on par—or at least in the same zip code—with UND men's hockey may not ever return to Grand Forks.
"the days when UND basketball is even comparable to UND mens hockey will probably never be seen in Grand Forks."
Such a dumb comment when the whole article was trying to praise the basketball team.
A successful basketball season will bring more national exposure to UND than a successful hockey season.
I guess the Herald also wanted to get in on helping divide the fan base...
Appears that way. But it should at least be an add on. They seem to have every other sports network available and already have it in their "data base."
I'll just have to head over to my brothers and watch it on Directv. Bonus the projector is still set up from the Super Bowl. Makes tracking the puck easy.
